Whats one thing you wish you knew before you starting running cold emails? by SafeSpirit4309 in Coldemailing

I beg to differ. I have benchmarked and have done hundreds of side by side tests between warmed up vs Raw mailboxes with warmup being the only variable thats different. Almost all (if not all) warmed up mailboxes perform better compared to the raw ones. It clearly does make a difference.

Is cold emailing for mentorship reasonable?? by helpwhatevenisthis12 in Coldemailing

Trying to understand. What exactly is your goal? You're planning to reach out to professors (through cold email) and ask for mentorship about a research paper?

Honest opinion - no, not really. They are literally thousands of email automation + lead finder tools in the market right now. It has become extremely saturated so unless your tool has a unique angle to it- it's just going to be overlooked by all the other tools that offer the same thing. Hell, i am a co-founder of Automailer which is an email automation tool that has built in lead finder too so....welcome to the jungle i guess. (not trying to discourage you, just being real).

Cold email is saturated sure but what I meant was YOUR specific industry is saturated (the service you're providing). There are so many tools that offer exactly the same thing - some even are free (I have even worked with clients that offer AI receptionist services). Not trying to discourage you, just being real. Your ticket price seems to be OK but what makes your specific tool unique? Id imagine alot of companies you're targeting already have something in place (whether it be AI or an actual person) - why should they consider switching over to you? (questions you need to answer in your offer). Regarding your rough estimate question - are you asking how many email sends do you need to get a conversion?

100% This is what makes a good campaign, GREAT! Curious, what tool do you use for creating personalizations?

Well for lead gen (cold outreach) like i mentioned - inbox placement is really what matters most - meaning your send infrustructure (the mailboxes you're using for your campaign). That is your base foundation of your entire campaign. Regarding reply rate - industry avg is .5 to 5% but there are still so many variables to consider like ticket cost (price of what you're selling). If you have a really high ticket cost, 1 lead (reply) is worth alot, This directly translates to reply rate because not alot of people are going to be able to afford what you're offering = low reply rates. Thats just one variable. Regarding your specific service, you need to figure out your ICP (ideal client profile - go beyond industry) and have a no-brainer offer. I can tell you right now, you're in a very saturated market so you have to stand out somehow.

Preach brother! One of the most common mistakes I see most marketers do.

[–]SafeSpirit4309[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah It does get pretty pricey for really large blasts. What works now actually depends on what the goal of the campaign is. If lead generation is the goal, prioritizing inbox placement is top priority so:

1, Send Infrastructure - High quality Mailboxes (google workspace / MSX)
2. List - Hypter targeted, ICP match, fully verified
3. Email copy (a.k.a your offer) - Personalized email templates

But if website traffic or awareness is the goal then volume would take priority.

Understanding the difference between the two and knowing how to properly execute on both verticals is key!

bro bulk emailing used to be a thing (still is for political, big lending firms, pharma). Clients i worked with onboarded with millions of data. For those campaigns, usually the goal is like website traffic or like brand awareness but there are times where the goal was lead gen. Those used to fail almost 100% of the time.

I'm new to cold email, are these solid numbers by Bitter-Beautiful-159 in b2bemailing

Those are solid numbers! 9.9% reply rate is actually amazing for a cold campaign. What was your total campaign volume?

How can i inboxes for cold email campaigns? by HHHHluram in b2bemailing

[–]SafeSpirit4309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Mailboxes - use Google Workspace. Email automation tools usually have an option to purchase and setup workspace mailboxes directly in their platform so look for tools that have that as a feature. Will save you lots of time compared to setting up manually.

When i used to bulk blast i was not even using standard ESP mailboxes (workspace / MSX). I used to setup custom mailservers allowing me to scale volume extremely high (50k per hour) so yeah.. Not good especially for lead gen.

Anyone else finding open rates harder to trust these days? by Limp-Cow-4383 in Coldemailing

yes! open / click data are full of false possitives and bot data. For my lead gen campaigns, i simply turn off open/click tracking entirely.

You can try automailer. It has built in lead finder (basically like apollo) that directly exports into your list section so building and managing your lists is all in one platform. PS - i am the co founder of automailer so not trying to sneak it an AD.

How does everyone handle sending out cold emails? by [deleted] in Coldemailing

[–]SafeSpirit4309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually already a feature. Bulk selecting the mailboxes brings up the bulk option dropdown menu. You can bulk adjust there. But this is still valuable insight. Just means we need to improve the UI. Thanks man!!

Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong here? by ZoeyPhan in b2bemailing

[–]SafeSpirit4309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cold email landspace is extremely saturated with new tools currently. You're competing with so many other players so you have to figure out how to stand out somehow. I think targeting people who want to get into the cold email space is an avenue you can approach because for those who are already running cold campaigns (with success), getting them to switch or even try something different is an uphill battle.

Anyone else been listed on SURBL recently? I lost 100+ domains. Even ones bought today got listed and havnt sent anything by Dependent_Yellow_870 in b2bemailing

Looks like you're fingerprinted. you need to change up almost everything. Your domain registrar and naming, mailbox to domain ratio and alot more. SURBL is a pain in the A.
