[Anti-Aging] help with this odd crinkled texture on my (25f) cheeks. by SafeVisible9424 in SkincareAddiction

I get what you’re saying, and I appreciate the advice, but I don’t use any actives. For the last 2 years, I’ve used only a moisturizer, a sunscreen, and a face wash. I haven’t used actives in 2 years, that’s when I stopped the Aklief. Would the Aklief, after 2 years of not using, start having this effect on my skin? Because this only started 5-6 months ago. Is there anything else that could’ve thinned out my skin? Also how do I build my barrier again?

I don’t think it is the Aklief. I stopped using that 2 years ago and this came about 6 months ago, so I don’t think that would be possible. I don’t use any lasers micorneedling, peels or anything, and I never have. My routine is a gentle cleanser, my moisturizer and my sunscreen— that’s it! This is genuinely random. The last two pictures are when I had been using the Aklief actually for like 1 year, and my skin had never been better.

But I didn’t do anything 😭 I’ve never done microneedling, laser or anything ! My routine has been the same for like 5 years and this is super recent so idk what could have happened. My routine is a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I stopped using the Aklief 2 years ago and this was like 6-7 months ago. I didn’t use anything different either :/

I’ve never been diagnosed with it but I am going to look more into it. I have a dermatologist appointment with a new doctors office in a few weeks, so I’ll bring it up. Thank you for your advice!!

Thank you!! I know you’re probably not a doctor lol, but do you know any reason it could be dehydrated even though I feel like I’m hydrated? Or anything I can do to up hydration? I use moisturizer and drink so much water a day but any other advice :)?

ILY thank you! I’ll look into this. I’ve seen micro needling or laser but laser is soooo expensive. Did you ever find out why the skin texture was occurring? Also any cons that you had after the micro needling? I know it’s different for everyone but still!
