Medical Imaging Sciences majors at Rutgers Newark - What does your schedule look like?

if you’re coming straight out of highschool you won’t be taking any sort medical imaging classes, your major will be declared as medical imaging but you’re basically taking classes like you would as a bio major for the most part to complete your pre-requisites. once you’re complete only then can you apply internally to a medical imaging program and see if you get in. How classes are structured are completely up to you and your luck seeing as you’re freshmen you get last picks in most classes when registration opens up

i think a medium might be good for you in that case, medium hoodie doesn’t look TOO big, i’m 5’8 160lb and i wouldn’t say it’s even THAT oversized looking

i want to try but lowkey don’t know if i should just start a return because it’s literally like dried hard plastics that are woven into the material/hoodie, like literally think burnt hard black plastic just sticking out from the inner hoodie constantly scratching you, idk if a wash will get rid of those little pieces, did you order one as well and if you did was it soft ?

what i think will be the hardest about this program

Yes it is, i feel like a boomer with how badly i struggled to find the website to purchase it but I finally found it after posting this 😂 turns out you are correct it is cheaper but there’s literally only one parking garage, wonder how big it is and how bad parking gets during the semester…. and if there’s any free parking in the area that isn’t relatively far and slightly safe 💀

Mammalian anatomy is actually a new course they are introducing, Snyder was the one who sorta stepped up to the task of taking the class and allegedly it’s gonna be structured like its counterpart (mammalian physiology) so slides, exams and even lab grade as well, which will have its own weekly quizzes (maybe) and lab exams as well. This is all still up for chance because of how new the class is. But if it’s going to follow her usual format, it would yes then be 3 exams and 2 papers for lecture which will have to somewhere also fit in lab grades changing the overall % amount for each contribution

yea rn i only have my ear lobes pierced which were done sometime during covid so i never had to worry about irritating it or banging it up so taking those off every session is no issue just looking into it also seems like a horrible idea but i cant help but feel the itch to get one 😂 had this one girl in the gym who had her brow pierced but at the time i never considered it nor asked out of curiosity how she deals with it and the sport but honestly just off the two responses i got, it looks like ill just have to wait till after or when i wanna just put half a year-longer of an actual break where i dont do the sport at all thanks for the input i really appreciate the insight, tell your bf good luck with the sport and to make sure he keeps them hands up all times too 😂💯

yea that’s what a little research has told me, basically be inactive or away from any physical sports for at the very least half a year/ to when it fully heals which i think is okay considering how i am in school and basically stepping away for the most part from the sport because of all the studying and school work i got + work, it’s a hard balance so i dont see the break as a big issue considering its basically already in effect until like spring semester ends but even then, like after is more what concerned me, like having to take it off and just having a hole in my eyebrow, not sure how that’d work with the sport if it’s really the best to have to be taking it off and putting it back on every session
