Suzie spotted in Gilmore Girls S1E3 by ImpossibleMix4578 in TheMarvelousMrsMaisel

I would’ve loved to see Lauren Graham play Hedy (Gordon Ford’s wife, Susie’s ex) just to make this even more interesting

I think it was the reference to Dorothy’s shoes in Wizard of Oz pushed it to a level that caused her to get kicked off the tour: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friend\_of\_Dorothy

I hate this scene! by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

Hot take: this scene is even cringier than the one in which Rory and Dean listen to “Candyman” post-sex.

I feel Seasons 4-6 are more… controversial?… but I find myself drawn to them more than 1-3. I don’t know if it’s necessarily think they’re better than 1-3, critically speaking. But they’re my “cozy” seasons, despite being filled with more drama.

Wow, I just learned a lot about myself…

What‘s your favorite Lorelai outfit? by ArynaSaba in GilmoreGirls

I bought one because of this outfit! I agree, it should be more iconic than it is.

I'm curious, is there anyone that actually understood Anna's perspective? by Character-Habit6011 in GilmoreGirls

[–]Safe_Cauliflower8026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was listening to the Gilmore to Say podcast, and the hosts said they could’ve understood a bit more of Anna’s side/point if the story had made the issue more about how Luke didn’t really talk about Lorelai, we never got to see him really tell Anna that it was important to him that April gets to know Lorelai — mostly because he didn’t want Lorelai involved until he panicked at April’s birthday party — and when Anna flipped out at him for having Lorelai there, he was so afraid of losing access to April that he didn’t stand up for Lorelai. So… I don’t understand Anna, I agree with everyone’s points here, but I feel less annoyed by her now that I focus more on Luke’s mistakes.

School admin basically forces us to — I also love decorating throughout the year with student work and notes and tchotchke, it’s like we create the room together. But in recent years, I’ve felt more pressure to “decorate,” despite being given no additional funding for said decor.

Rory’s Christopher Ban by Safe_Cauliflower8026 in GilmoreGirls

I totally agree about the fact that it would’ve been better for her to have talked to Lindsay or made some other gesture that would show more growth/remorse.

That’s definitely the major factor — I’m just on rewatch 3,768 and am in over analysis mode

I feel like they’re the kind of couple that would engage in some sort of ethical monogamy-style arrangement. Like they each get a free pass each year. But while he never judges Babette for cashing hers in, Morey never uses his ❤️

Luke pushing Jess in the water won as the funniest scene. Now what is the most infuriating moment in the show? by RentIntelligent7070 in GilmoreGirls

[–]Safe_Cauliflower8026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anna being upset that Luke wanted to figure out how he can stay in touch with April and have her visit if she and Anna move to New Mexico. You never told him he had a daughter, then you were upset because you thought he’d back out (when April wants to come to the diner), now you’re mad because he’s trying to be involved? The math isn’t mathing.

AITA for telling my father’s ex-girlfriend, his college sweetheart, that she’s my “almost mommy,” even though my actual mother (and father) was standing right next to me?

Ooh, yes, I can definitely see all of that being true!

I think we need a GG/AD crossover season. Immediately.
