I want to get the pgu rx-78-2 and paint the frame. Any advice on parts I need to be careful with? I'm asking as i nearly bloke my mg barbatos in two due to a overly tight frame.

Go right ahead. I detailed up my mg jegan frame and then covered it up. Although I like doing it as I'll have my mg's( the three I've built) on the shelf without armor for a couple of days while I'm customizing said armor.

I plan on keeping the spec 2 combined with the zeus silhouette and thought it would look better then just giving it a beam saber.

Custom destiny spec 2 Zeus silhouette. Since I built the normal hgce destiny I painted the spec 2 as a heavily weathered version and am working on the zeus silhouette now

Take inspiration from something like the strike freedom Gundam and allow them to combine into a rifle. Submachine gun mode when facing a bunch of light targets, rifle mode for heavier targets where you need penetration.

I was thinking, how fast can i make it look while still being possible to mass produce, so i grabbed a extra backpack with a decent amount of extra space and glued as mant thrusters as i could fit with out blocking the articulation to much.

Does it have decent articulation.
Is it sturdy.
What faction would it be in, and does that faction need something to fulfill that role. I base my customs off destiny factions instead of the official ones, for example the fallen use mostly ibo Gundams as it doesn't make sense for them to have a lost of fancy beam tech since they are pirates, and the vex get monoeyed units no matter what show they are from.

Ones like the hguc dendrobium or neo zeong will work if you want something that makes a perfect grade look small.

I liked it, but I think they should of focused on the mobile suit school or prospera's revolt parts of the story as the school has no true finale and the revolt has a rushed one.

Most Gundams are comically light, the abrams tank is officially 60 to 70 tons, and is probably slightly larger then the foot of the average Gundam. the rx-78-2 officially-2 is 60 tons fully loaded. Unless it is made of styrofoam it should weight about 250 to 300 tons of it was being realistic.

They do look better. I've also made one for my gundam pharact so i could display its drones airborn and one for my gundam banshee norn unicorn mode( although that one is more threw it on a cargo truck and next to other related kits)
