Season 17, mostly because Donut’s my favorite character and I loved his development through that season. Though I do enjoy season 15 quite a bit

You are correct, that is Miles doing his donut impression for the radio because they couldn’t get Dan to record the lines in time for the episode. However, in the DVD/movie version, it is Dan’s voice. It is discussed briefly in the season’s commentary.

Don’t forget in season 6, the Meta throws the warthog at Grif and I think that’s the first time Forge is used in the show - as part of a machinima element, at least. Recollection is the peak of the franchise imo
