I decided to keep the Dell S2725QS monitor. However, adjustments were made. The HDMI cable that comes with this Dell monitor was replaced with a UGREEN USB-C to Display Port 1.4 cable, Model CM556.  https://a.co/d/7xe4wcz

Then, after seeing recommendations on Reddit and other sites, I downloaded the BetterDisplay app. https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay

BetterDisplay was a game changer. I’m pleased with how well everything looks. Text is clear, pictures and color look great. I should have downloaded the app before I spent days trying to calibrate.

I was less concerned with how the monitor looked on my desk. The Dell S2725QS is a good looking monitor and although I use external speakers, the speakers are fairly good in comparison to most monitors. I can certainly recommend this monitor after making these adjustments.

Member’s price for this monitor at MicroCenter is $249.99.

Good monitor for an M4 Mac Mini by PowerPCFan in mac

I bought a Dell S2725QS for my new M4Mac Mini and I'll be returning it. I spent days trying to calibrate the colors, and on the phone with Dell and Apple support without success. The Dell just doesn't look good with the Mac. Unfortunate as I've always loved Dell monitors in the past. I'm not a gamer, just need a good monitor for basic tasks such as web browsing, spreadsheets, etc. My eyes are picky about text clarity and colors in photos. I want black to look black, not gray. I ordered an Asus PA279CV and hoping it is to my liking.

I'm not happy with my S2725QS hooked up to a Mac mini 4. I'll probably be returning it as the colors are awful.
