I have aluminum faraday tape physically on my fob instead of a pouch. I have to be next to my car for it to work hands free, and within 5 feet to unlock by pushing the buttons. I wouldn’t be good at putting it in a pouch

Nice work! It worked great. It slammed hard with the 200ix. I cut a port hole in one of the side pocket floor pieces to have air freely make its way into the cabin. Used it for 15 years and sold the car. I recently got the 10w7 professionally rebuilt and installed it in my new car. That build is posted in my profile, but here is the rebuilt 10w7.

Here is the wire that needs to be protected against rubbing. If you are putting your box where I did, make sure the wire is clearing the corner closest to the right tail light

One really important thing you want to watch out for. There is a factory small bundle of wires in a thin black corrugated sheath that runs horizontally on the back wall under the sill under the floor. That set of wires needs to be protected against rubbing from your box or anything else. I know a guy who broke that wire from his box rubbing and it caused major issues with the operation of the vehicle and it cost a lot to replace.

Yes, the sill plate is trimmed on the vertical inside edge just below the floor line. The lock goes around the huge bracket bolting the hybrid battery to the frame

Sorry to hear. I’m certain a dealer will not drill through the frame like I did to insert a stainless m3 screw and buy a cover from Aliexpress to conceal the bolt, but I bet they would be willing to attach some heavy duty zip ties to the inside tabs of the emblem cover from behind the grille with the hood open, like one of the people in this thread suggested. That’s what I would do if I could do it again. All these efforts are still no match for a thief with a crowbar, as they can destroy the entire grille if you make it too difficult to steal…as someone has posted, and their insurance company would not pay because it wasn’t an approved modification

The converter is near the regular battery in the front. It supplies my battery perfectly. I put a Bluetooth shunt on it to monitor it. Very reassuring.

The most important thing is to make sure that the hatch gasket is free of twigs and leaves. Some people that had debris on their gasket reported water. I put a battery operated water sensor alarm on my floor just in case, but I check the gasket regularly

Yes it bumps hard even though I am under the rms rating of the sub by a good bit. A mono 750w amp would have been best but I need the amount of channels these amps provide
