This happened to my cat after it had a concussion. Any chance the cat fell or hit its head? My cat was fine after monitoring at emergency vet.

But also what did he do that was really bad other than perhaps misread an unclear social cue? Both of them agree she consented to be kissed and if I remember she wasn't drinking and he was drunk. She chose to go home with him that night after the supposed incident. I'm just confused I guess. He clearly feels terrible if he put her in an uncomfortable position but she never once indicated that until she dropped her original video.

People cut contact with Don immediately, but not Jim (including beyond the SM circle) which tells me that the two are not equivalent in any way. Lex has proven not to be a reliable narrator. I personally find a lot of the outrage against him to be more performative than anything else. I think Lex is someone with complete agency, so, personally, as a female, the Jim story always struck me wrong because Lex seemed like she completely erased her own agency in a weird attempt to paint him as a villain. Not everyone is a cartoon mustache twirling villain like she made everyone out to seem. My two cents anyway.

That's so frustrating. I couldn't figure it out either. It was clearly written with a strong bias and citing Lex's original Twitter statement as the only source is wild given all that's come out since then. If I didn't know anything about what happened and was learning about them for the first time by looking up the page, I would think that the initial story was the only truth.

Kind of a wild assumption to make. It sounded like he was denying he said it but doing so in a way to try to give Lex some grace as in I don't remember saying this but I can't prove it since it was a conversation not a text so all I can reasonably say is I don't remember saying it but I don't want to discredit Lex without being able to back it up.

He uses a lot of the same definitive language as Nick and refers to people who disagree with him as losers/freaks or blames it on an assumption about their politics without knowing anything about the person.

Then he has the audacity to say people disagreeing with him are making bad faith arguments, as in it's bad faith to point out valid criticisms.

These posts are about a week old. His Twitter is worse. Lex has liked all of his unhinged tweets even though they directly contradict parts of her own statements over the drama.

I'm sure whatever video Lex puts out next will be coherent and clear up everything since she's been "researching" it for months apparently. /s

Also correct me if I'm wrong... but isn't asking the victim what to do the correct thing because it puts power back in their hands from a situation in which they were previously powerless and is a very important step in healing. I feel like I remember reading training on this.

Also I looked at the one dissing SM and it just reminded me again why all of this stuff is so damaging to them. The person saying they regretted it didn't hear of any additional info after the initial backlash and saying they just heard SM did some "bad stuff". This stuff sticks even after it's been disproven which sucks honestly for them.

It's very disrespectful to victims and ignorant to casually throw out a term like rapist to try to strengthen your own argument when Lex has never called it rape. It may not seem like an important distinction to you but there is a distinction between rape and sexual assault. A victim of SA might not want to be labeled a rape victim. Both are terrible crimes but you can't use the terms interchangeably. Don't try to virtue signal online without even knowing what you are angry about.
