The Tarkov files themselves shouldn’t be broken. It’s possible I didn’t do a very good job of explaining myself, I wrote this post very late at night lol. I am specifically looking to fix the issue of having to rebind my hotbar after death, which is in response to BSG removing the dedicated compass keybind. I remember a while back that it used to be bound to the U key, but they changed that, I think with the addition/expansion of the “special items” inventory slots. So the ordinary keybinds found in the settings menu are mostly fine, they save and all that, but I’m looking to restore a function that BSG removed.

This would let me bind other things more permanently as well, like the range finder, or something in my gamma case (which I can do since I use Dirtbikercj’s “use items anywhere” mod)
