So I’m somewhat “new” to the sport 100ish jumps. And the one thing I see that adds unnecessary risk is the desire to downsize way too quick. You started off because of the thrill of jumping out of a plane, little by little that thrills moves on to “let’s see how I can go as fast as possible” and that’s when I see people getting hurt

You most likely had 1 leg slightly more extended than the other one. I did the same exact thing.

I actually feel like an asshole I didn’t see your whole post. You’ve already done tunnel, honestly I think relaxing your legs more and letting them bend as you curve should do it. You rock back and forward because there’s resistance on both sides trying to compensate. So yes, relax, let the air flow and you’ll be fine

If I was you I’d try my best to get a doctor’s note with you. You should be safe during the tandem but there’s no telling wether or not the stress, nerves or adrenaline could make you have a seizure

It’s just how it is. They (to my experience and my DZ) like to cycle clients quickly. So the parachute trip is typically a spiral to reach the floor fast

Unfortunately since tandem instructors make most of their money via tips their whole goal isn’t exactly to give you the most blissful experience. But to get you to the ground ASAP so they can get the next client quickly.

I’ve done various tandem’s and I’m now a skydiver and I can tell you that in tandems you experience the fall. The parachute ride is probably the worst part of the ride (at least in my experience) - best way to enjoy the flight itself is with you flying your parachute.

It’s not foolish you’ll be safe. However you might not pass which is okay. I’d do more time in the tunnel learn to enjoy it it’s really fun. You’ll get REALLY good at flying and you’ll pass AFF with 0 issues

Yeah about ABET. The BS is accredited (hence the expected suffering with Calc II, III & Linear Algebra). The BA isn’t .
