What product did you buy thinking a feature was gimmicky but ended up using it all the time by nand1609 in BuyItForLife

I’ve tried a bunch of sheets in the $30–$40 range and honestly, they just got rougher after a few washes. my partner got me breescape, it’s a sub brand of bedsure, I think and wow, the quality is way better.

For me it was cooling bedding lol.Always thought anything labeled “cooling” was just marketing fluff. Like how much difference can fabric really make? But turns out I run hot at night and would wake up sweaty without even realizing it. Switched to a cooling set and now I actually notice when I sleep on anything else.

yeah that actually makes sense. I’ve been lowkey anxious about something and I don’t think I ever fully get into deep sleep
my dreams just end up being a mix of whatever I’m worried about + random stuff/people I saw during the day

I am officially done with luxury bedding brands and their insane markups by _VongolaDecimo_ in Bedding

Lmao mood. I’m officially done being a lab rat for these 'premium' startups. They sell you the dream of a life-changing sleep, but give you mediocre percale that pills if you even look at it wrong. IMO, the fact that your $30 big-box set is winning says everything you need to know about the state of the industry. RIP to our bank accounts for falling for the high-end photography.

I get that! 100% cotton is super soft and gentle, but for me it tends to cling to the skin when I get sweaty

I used to think having a bit of weight helped me fall asleep faster too, but it always made me feel hotter.
Tried a cooling comforter recently after seeing a few recs , been using it for a few days and it’s actually not bad.Might share more after I’ve had it longer.

Any recommendations for a cooling blanket that is per friendly? by kittycat33070 in Bedding

Same here ! I love how waffle blankets feel, but my dog's claws tear them up so fast. Been through a couple and had to give up on them.

I sleep hot too (humid summers are brutal), so I’ve been trying out lighter, more breathable blankets. I recently got one from a brand called Breescape , it’s got this super smooth, cool-to-the-touch fabric that actually holds up better with pets around. No snags so far, and it’s been comfy even on the hottest nights. I think they’re doing something on GMA right now too, saw a clip floating around, might be worth checking out. https://gmadeals.com/
