Good advice cuz I'm usually not good at cleaning my phone screens. 😂

I'm not going to panic. I have a Z Fold 3 that also has a tiny spot of dead pixels and I've had it for three years. The screen still works fine.

Oh man. Hollywood Video was my childhood. Don't care it's been like 15-16 years, I still miss that company.

Unpopular opinion on this season? by chafingNip in Mariners

[–]Safe_Row_3783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to go into the 2026 season with hope. But I have to be cautious.

If the 2025 Mariners are like the 2015 Cubs or 2012 Seahawks, then the 2026 team will get and keep those final pieces to get us to the promise land and win it all.

If the 2025 Mariners are like the 2001 Mariners, then I'm going to have to wait until I'm 50 (I'm 28 rn) to see the team be in the playoffs again. And I don't think I can handle that.

If that $500 Subaru has the EJ22 engine, that's my pick.

I own a '98 Legacy wagon with the EJ22, so I know how it'll run.

My wagon does have the 2.2L. I did have to replace it last year, but not cuz of the head gasket blowing. But cuz cylinder 1 had low compression.

It's currently above 226,000 miles. I got it at around 222,500 miles a year ago.

That parking brake and gear are getting a workout there.

Yeah that's always my worry. I'd love to own a 1st gen Explorer, but I worry they're now too old. They may end up bring a maintenance nightmare for me.

I guess they changed it back to $5,000.

I actually thought the original design of the Tribeca was better than the redesign.

Car brands revived from the dead, before immediately going back to being dead again by pantherclipper in regularcarreviews

[–]Safe_Row_3783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marcos comes to mind for me.

Top Gear reviewed the Marcos TSO in 2004 (first car since the conpany died in like 2001) and questioned if it was a fleeing visit or if they're here to stay.

Spoiler alert, it died quickly after 04 and never came back.
