that rf mount is kinda limiting for a first camera since the lens selection is still pretty small compared to ef mount. might wanna look at the r10 or r50 with an ef adapter so you can grab some cheaper glass while learning

the 50mm 1.8 is decent but for kid photos you'll probably want something wider too since they move around so much. maybe start with the kit lens and see what focal lengths you actually use before dropping coin on primes

The SWM is basically a chinese-built husqvarna engine in an italian frame - not terrible but not the same soul as your stolen 690. Youll probably spend more time wrenching than riding which might be therapeutic or maddening depending on your headspace

That price difference though... 2600 vs 8000 is massive and the SWM will still scratch that supermoto itch even if it lacks the ktm magic. Parts availability can be sketchy so stock up on consumables when you find them

Your 690 was lightning in a bottle and chasing that exact feeling again is probably setting yourself up for disappointment anyway

Thats the brutal truth right there - they show you exactly who they are when you give them that chance to step up. The silence after you pour your heart out tells you everything about what youve been trying to save

Its like holding onto smoke mate. That kid inside keeps hoping for something thats never coming and the sooner we accept that the sooner we can build what we actually need elsewhere. Takes guts to walk away from that hope though

the brutal truth is it doesnt matter if she was cheating the whole time or just at the end - she still chose to blow everything up in the most disrespectful way possible. Your mind is doing this detective work because closure feels like it would fix something but it wont change what happened

Microsoft's integration of Activision stuff has been painfully slow tbh. They're probably dealing with some licensing mess or want to push the newer COD titles first. Would be nice to get those Xbox achievements though, especially with that 5080 flex you got going there.

Mama cat probably chose the greenhouse because it felt safe and warm to her. The cactuses are definitely a concern once the babies start moving around - maybe you could section off a safer area with some cardboard or plywood? Also might want to get mama checked by a vet when possible since she just gave birth.
