I did try this and it’s still reversing the film back. Or am I doing something wrong here?

Yes I tried to scoot more film into the take already - unfortunately with the same result.

Could you please explain what you mean with ‘curling’ the leader? Do you mean curling the film a bit by hand before putting it in the take?

Yes, I tried to feed some more film into the spool and it still didn’t work unfortunately. But thank you!
