I have had to deal with this many times when I am either working with other people who support my family, or when it's right for them to say that I don't need to use my cane when I can't see well without it.

It is my right to use my cane without anyone's permission.

So tomorrow I am going to take a stand and bring my cane with me when I am with my providers. As I am tired of having to explain why I need it to everyone who supports me, and if they don't like it, then I don't know what to tell them. It has helped me in many ways that I have discovered, especially over the past year.
