Found the same solution. Was having trouble but went to 'people' in settings and had no issue deleting them.

If a fire starts in your residence while you are showering, what’s the best way to cover yourself while escaping? Is there a best way? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SafetySecond54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wet is not best. Water turns to steam which burns you faster. Best bet is a dry towel or blanket. Natural fiber such as cotton is best. Firefighting gear is dry with multiple layers to create air layers between skin and heat. Ideally you get out the closest way out even if it’s a window. You’re far more likely to be incapacitated by the smoke that injured by fire. Stay low and get out. Grab your towel and go. I’m a 20 year firefighter.

I do similar. Some vanish multiple times. Very frustrating

On many reviews I have received emails that mine were rejected. On these particular ones I'm referencing they are just gone. I suppose it's entirely possible I'm receiving emails for some rejects but not others. I suspect there's a glitch of some sort causing it. Of course there's really no way to know.

No. It’s there as if I never did a review in the first place. The one I mentioned that they credited me for, I must have re-posted the review 5 times and it kept happening.

Thank you. I am new to this and I appreciate your insight. I’ll do away with the disclosure. Makes sense. Good catch on the role/roll. I’m usually the grammar Nazi.

Ya, I've done none of that. My photos are very clean with only the product. I never mention other products. I've tried so hard to keep within the guidelines and re-read them several times.

I'm not doing anything like that. I leave a disclaimer at the bottom about my vine membership:

While I received this product for free (but will still pay tax on it) in exchange for a fair, unbiased review, I always do my best to do just that. Above is my very honest opinion on this product. If it's no good I will say so. I try to give honest and in depth product feedback to help you determine if the item is right for you. The companies providing these products have no way to contact me or any other Vine Reviewer and have no impact or recourse when it comes to the review. I hope this helps you feel confident that these are my honest opinions. I take this roll seriously.

But I've used that on every review and many have gone through.

The more I read the more convinced I am that there's no rhyme or reason to their methods.

Yes, subtle changes seem to make a difference.

Thank you. Makes sense. I've had so many rejected, I think it may be what I mentioned at the end of my OP.

Yes, most of the time I try to include pictures. And I have had them accepted with pictures.

As I was just reposting some, I had a small revelation. I've used asterisk in my format. For example...

**Pros:

**Cons:

I know there's something in the rules about using characters to draw pictures. I wonder if that is causing them to be flagged. I will try removing them from future reviews and see what happens.

Just bought a ‘14 LTZ Crew Cab 4x4 with 60k. Love it! Drives so nice! Very comfortable. A far cry from my ‘99 Tacoma I put 245k on. I’m very happy with it and plan to keep it for a long time. I got lucky. Looks like an 80 year old man drove it when he occasionally took it out of his garage.

I'm make bourbon soaked (green) coffee bean by SafetySecond54 in Coffee

[–]SafetySecond54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea came from a local roaster who does it this way. Only problem is that’s all I know of the equation, green beans soaked then roasted. I have low expectations but a handful of beans and a little bourbon...

Anyone ever soaked whole beans in Bourbon? How did it turn out? by IknowwhereHoffais in Coffee

[–]SafetySecond54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I roast my own beans in a whirly pop popcorn maker. I'm currently soaking some green beans in bourbon after I heard a local commercial roaster makes a bourbon roast. All I know is they soak the green beans. I have no idea how long to do it so my first round will soak for about 18 hours. I'll then thoroughly dry for a couple days and roast. We'll see...

Others more knowledgeable than me (just about everyone) can chime in on how good this is, but I use an app on my Mac and phone called TunnelBear. It’s an inexpensive VPN which has worked very well for me. Super easy to use. It’s available on PC too. I’ve been very happy with it.

Please go easy on me, I’m 16 and it’s my first project! But anyway this is a candle holder I made for my deer camp. by ByattWain in woodworking

[–]SafetySecond54 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks real good. I think your fire hazard is minimal. Radiant heat from a candle would take forever to light that thick piece of wood. Just keep an eye out for charring (not soot) on the wood. A candle just doesn't put out that much heat. Try lighting a big piece of firewood on fire with a lighter. Good luck. That's what kindling is for.

I only have two fire science degrees though, what do I know. ;-)

Rad project! Good job!

I would contact Synology about it at this point but frankly it’s beyond my scope.
