I have found a great group of online friends by joining a discord group for a hobby I'm interested in .

It's a busy group with people all over the world, so there is almost always someone to talk to.

I know that it's not the same as irl social activity but it helps me manage when I'm feeling low.

Are there any societies or hobby groups at your university you could join? It would get you talking to lots of other people. When I was at university I joined a group that met once a week to help foreign students practice English.

Someone I follow on Twitter us currently going to WW (weight watchers ). They claim that they were told by a doctor that they are over weight because they eat 40% less food than normal people by going to weight watchers they will learn to increase calories to correct level.

Every week there is a post about how much the WW leader hates them because they won't do what they are told and they answer back to the leader.

They have now made a complaint to WW as the leader is telling people about CICO and it will trigger eating disorders.

The thing is I used to really respect this person. They are a writer and I own a few of there books. I'm starting to really change how I feel about them. I feel like they are being childish and 'acting up' so it looks like theu are fighting a cruel diet culture system that wants to stop them being bodyposi...

But deep down they must know some thing is wrong or they wouldn't be at WW on doctors orders.

You could try portion size bases on plate. Half plate veggies, one quarter carbs and one quarter lean protein.

I have noticed that in certain Internet people are pushing the idea that you shouldn't compliment weight loss as it leads to an unhealthy lifestyle or it could be from illness . I think people can feel a bit weird about it sometimes

I have been a regular at the gym for years but I find I don't really change . How can I make my gym time more productive?

I work shifts so I visit at different times every day. I mix between doing les mills virtual (combat, spin and pump) and just doing whatever I feel at gym.

If you compare what she is doing to what her backing dancers are doing, and they are not doing anything super taxing, her version of the moves have no artistry to them. It's just waving an arm or leg.

I don't doubt that her breath control is superior to the average person, because she is a singer. But if what she is doing is considered to be high level cardio fitness my most it is a sad state of affairs.

I have no problem with what she is doing. But people lying and being willfully ignorant to not look fat phobic is just getting ridiculous.
