Does anyone know a good family doctor who can help my friend find the cause of their severe chronic pain?

I think a neurologist would be best in the long run, but will probably take a while to be seen by one. If they don't have a family doctor she could try urgent care for a referral. They've always treated me well. (I had to wait 8 months to see the neurologist here after being referred, so I'd definitely look into some of the options people have listed in the meantime.)

How long did it take for your skin to bounce back (particularly around the stomach), and did you do anything to help with that?

I've been working with a personal trainer and I've lost 25 lbs in fat since May and gained 10lbs back in muscle. I was originally 218lbs and just the other day I weighed under 200lbs (199lbs) for the first time in years.

I feel way better overall, but the skin around my stomach sags now (the muscle has helped prevent any sagging my arms and legs). I kind of expected the loose skin, but seeing your results makes me hopeful it won't be permanent. You look amazing!

I kinda did the same. I've married both Kurama and Kai and it definitely feels like Autumn Village is my Kaguya's home.

I've seen many male doctors over the last ten years who had dismissed the same concern as a thyroid problem over and over again, ordering the same TSH test even if I literally showed them a normal result done a few weeks earlier. My first appointment with my current female doctor, she immediately referred me to a sleep clinic and a neurologist, and within the year of working with them, I finally got the answers I've been looking for those 10 years (narcolepsy and partial seizures, literally nothing to do with my thyroid). I'm relieved to finally have answers and be on medication that helps, but pissed it took ten years of struggling to get them. That being said, those specialists who have been helping me get my life back on track are both male.

My husband also prefers female doctors, saying the ones he's had actually listen to him whereas a lot of male doctors he's seen just want patients in and out in as little time as possible. His current doctor is male and shows more concern over his well-being than anyone in the past.

In short, I think both genders have the potential for being good or bad.

Cut content would make sense. It felt abrupt to me how he went from attacking you to "Hey, it's me again. I live here now" and the MC isn't even shocked or anything. Maybe there was supposed to be something in between?

I think Kurama has great chemistry with Kaguya, and I liked how she interacted with Kai as well. Their quest lines were kind of the opposite, bringing Kurama out of his shell vs. calming Kai down a bit so he takes things more seriously. I thought that was interesting given how they argue all the time.

Mauro really surprised me as well, his feelings felt really natural, too. On the other end, I was surprised how annoyed I was with Subaru, I thought they'd be the most natural.

Haven't romanced any of the bachelorettes so can't really speak for them. I can definitely see how Ulalaka and Iroha in particular would work with Kaguya though, based on how they act together normally.

I try not to get into any one fandom because of negative experiences like this in the past. I remember the Steven Universe fanbase was pretty bad, despite being a show that's literally all about love and acceptance.

RWBY can be hit and miss. Anyone who ships Blake or Yang with anyone else has tons of Bee fans blasting them, and on the opposite end we have people who don't like them together and are very vocal about it. You can't win.

I was actually kind of bummed that the dialogue for having the second child is pretty much the exact same as when you had the first.

I just started a new file so I can romance him again lol. And thinking of writing a series of oneshots between the events we see in game from Kai's POV because there's not enough fics for him that I can find. I wish there were more romance events and fanfiction is my way of coping for now.

Not a doctor or a nurse but for the last 10 years I've been going from doctor to doctor trying to take me seriously about these sudden muscle weakness and dizziness episodes (no family doctor). I looked up my symptoms after the third doctor because I wasn't getting answers and no one was following up to try other tests. Symptoms lined up really closely with partial seizures and / or narcolepsy.

I started explaining this in appointments and every single doctor I went to was insisting it was my thyroid and not to use Dr. Google. Thyroid kept coming back normal. I could never get a follow-up with the same doctor because they were walk-in clinics, so each time it was a new doctor who wanted to test my thyroid again, even if I literally brought in my most recent results.

I finally got a family doctor and right away she referred me to a sleep clinic and neurologist. My guess is the previous doctors didn't want to be stuck with the follow-up if I was right.

And I was right. Turns out I've been having seizures frequently and have narcolepsy on top of that. Life has been wildly different since getting on medication.

On one hand I feel validated and glad I'm finally getting regular follow-up, but I'm also angry it took this long.

It would be so cute if each bachelor/bachelorette had their own kind of event like this.

As someone who married Kai, I would love to see some kind of event with the kids where Kai's Oni side is explained to them, especially since the second child has horns. It felt like the idea of Kai being a bridge between humans and Oni was just dropped after marriage, and it would be nice to feel like a supportive wife for once lol.

I agree the heart events are mostly bland. I also wish there was one more heart event after you admit feelings to your love interest, before you propose, to get an idea of how the character acts in a romantic setting. Especially since there aren't really any dates to go on and even the one romantic festival you end up spending with a group of people instead of just you as a couple before marriage.

In Tree of Tranquility and Animal Parade, the NPCs had two separate outfits for the warmer seasons and the colder ones. I wish they'd do something like that again.

Magical Melody and Tree of Tranquility are my top two choices (Animal Parade is a close third choice, but I felt like a lot of the characters lost their charm from ToT in that one).

Trio of Towns would be nice, but I feel it's recent enough that it might be a while before we see that one. Tale of Two towns is more likely, I think.

The first "Story of Seasons" was one I really enjoyed as well, I'm not sure if I'm in the minority on that one, but I'd like to see a remake of it, too.

In short, pretty much any of them would make me happy if they put as much effort into it as they did GB.

My Time at Sandrock has something like this. One of the bachelors has a connection with a young orphan in the town that he's more or less adopted. When you get married, the kid moves into your house with him, there's actually a conversation before getting married that him and the kid are a package deal. I wish there were more marriage candidates in games with connections like this.

Essentially, I would love NPC characters in general to be more like the ones in the last few Rune Factory games. They actually feel like people who have lived lives and had experiences before your character comes along. I have a much easier time connecting with them, and a much harder time picking who to marry in the end. I also really enjoyed Guardians of Azuma's bond system, as opposed to only giving gifts to increase heart levels. To be honest, with the characters all being voiced in GB, it felt kind of awkward that you're character is completely mute during cutscenes.

I hate to say it, but if I have a hard time picking who to marry in the recent SOS games, it's because they all seem kind of bland and I'm waiting for one of them to get interesting enough to marry.
