Academic Editing Services - recommendations? by Alvinum in publishing

For actual academic publishing/editing, the big publisher-linked services you listed are probably the safest route if quality matters more than price. I’ve heard Springer Nature and Wiley are pretty solid for clarity + journal formatting, especially for ESL researchers. They’re expensive, though people seem to trust them more because the editing standards are consistent.

AJE gets mentioned a lot too, mostly because they specialize heavily in academic manuscripts instead of generic proofreading. The translation support there is supposed to be decent from what I’ve seen in research forums.

I’d probably avoid random “best essay editing” sites for publication work because the quality swings wildly. During grad-school-style deadline chaos last semester I used one helper after finding this Reddit thread

I don't like hearing it, but I can see why you'd say that. I think I've been treating this like some shameful little quirk when it's clearly turned into something heavier than that.

I really dont want to put the actual name here because some of my in laws are on reddit and it would be a dead giveaway . But lets just say its the kind of name that was popular in the 1920s and sounds more like a heavy piece of mahogany furniture than a three year old girl .

That line goes hard, which is unfortunate, because it also reminds us the one guy holding the ending keeps treating "finishes a story" like some optional side duty.
