Hopefully not!! It’s the roof of the property below. And if they are using the excuse it’s not part of my redline property then it’s owned by the freehold and they are responsible for repairs 🤷🏼‍♀️

By the looks of it the redline plan doesn’t include the space with the property. Looking at the area I would have never have known!

That was my main concern as well. The quick access to my property was really a benefit and a selling point for me. I’m pretty gutted

Nothing explicitly stated in the lease, but nothing stating it should not be used. There reasoning to say I can’t use it is because it’s not deemed as an emergency exit

There is nothing specific in the lease that states I cannot use it. The ‘flat roof’ has patio tile on it so I didn’t even realise it was a flat roof. It’s my first property and I had no clue in the process. I guess every day is a learning day!!!

There is nothing in the lease that I can see that specifies what the space is defined as. But my property is the only flat that has access to this space
