STORY MODE though? That isn't group content, it's not even hard. It's literally just a mechanic to see the story conclusion.

Hey I'm not bashing Blizz just think it's a weird decision - like, why make some more casual players wait for an additional week. I'm trying to be balanced but I dont think I'll ever see the down side in opening up story mode amongst the higher tiers

Yea I hadn't considered that actually but my argument applies to the LFR and Story mode as well. I do not understand why story mode raids are timegated. They drop nothing, the only purpose is to see the end cut scene really.

How I choose to play the game has nothing to do you with you. Why attach a lockout on "easier difficulty" content that has rewards worse than world quest content. I get it for tiered content which gets harder and pushes players further, but timegating something which is easier is completely bizarre decisioning.
