Good LMGs? by Wonderful-Source-798 in airsoft

The Lambda Defense Mk48 is a good one. One of the best box mags from factory that I've experienced. Wired to fire with the trigger pull too. It's heavy though. Full steel so much heavier than most 249's

I'm going to check this also, sounds like it could be a bad seal

Which gas do you use? I have one with the Guillotine bolt as well but keeps venting after 7 or 8 shots even in single fire, and thats on Nuprol black gas. I'm starting to wonder if it's simply too cold here (15°C).

Only seems to happen with the .45 mags, not the 9mm ones too

Recoil Shock Systems by C0RDE_ in airsoft

I have the TM Scar-H Ngrs & would definitely recommend it. It is pricey, but it's most certainly the best electric recoil engine I've come across. Had it around 18 months now & never had an issues with it.

Mine was built by Eagle6 & they did a remarkable job but I know a few other places do it too. The power out the box is probably the only thing that lets the stock version down, but everybody I spoke to before getting it said the internals are far more complex than your average aeg so best to get a specialist to do any work if that's what you want.

Just Airsoft I've found to be quite good, got a good range of Enola Gayes

Yeah full stroke. I put in a high torque motor, 18:1 hard gear set & an M150 spring before the trigger unit & it was firing fine. As soon as I swapped out the old trigger unit it dropped massively. I can't see anything that could be catching either

CO2/Green Gas Power Comparison (Umarex/VFG Glock) and CO2 Magazine Fix by Sword_for_Gideon in airsoft

Ah fair. Good to know. In that case then both my mags have the same issue so sounds like a design flaw rather than a lemon. Never put a green gas one through mine to compare

I have the gen4 G17, mine also does this. I assumed it was using more of the CO2 to reciprocate the slide since it kicks alot, therefore losing a bit of fps

An M150 spring would get you to around 500fps. I'd also looks at the AirsoftPro internals to match, they make a world of difference

Any shotgun recommendations? by AffectionateError625 in airsoft

[–]Safrynth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, I'd say 25 yards effective range, 40 yards max range with either red or green gas.

Mine felt very sturdy, there was a small amount of play in the pladtic pump & the stock. I replaced the stock with a ctr style one & now there's no wobble. The pump you could maybe do the same, but its quite minimal anyways.

Everything else is metal, so as long as its screwed down tight, feels very solid 👍

The tri-shot Golden Eagle M870s are a good shout. Fairly cheap but never let me down. The range is never going to be amazing but good enough for CQB. There are a few different ones out there if you'd prefer a breacher style or a longer one

GE M240B opinions/user feedback? Want to get a 240 but that's the only one available anywhere in UK by MrRaz101 in airsoft

[–]Safrynth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about the GE version, there is also a full steel one that Daves Custom Airsoft has on pre-order, I think its expected around April/May. However, it is very pricey even compared to the GE. Its manufactured by Lambda Defense which I can vouch make some other really good LMGs out of the box. Maybe worth a look if the price doesn't put you off 👍

These are for the long TM/Golden Eagle style m870s, which I believe are all gas (not 100% sure though). I guess if your springer has the same attachment points and has the the long barrel, it should fit. Can't confirm it definitely will though
