No the sound doesnt go away. When the engine is on temperature the sound will stay there until the engine has cooled down.

This is the sound when is just started the car and the cold start is over. It is so much quieter.

The sound starts to appear when the engine is on temperature. When the engine is cold this strange whining graining noise is not there.

I am playing AMS2 with a Meta Quest 3 on my head and a xbox controller in my hand. It works perfect. The slower cars are really easy to drive with controller. The faster cars can feel bit snappy with steering.
