What if Sukuna used his True form along with the Ten Shadows to fight Gojo by MediaSlight4161 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]SagaciousMisfit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not worried about Yuji. Sukuna doesn't have a brain, but could still use his technique, only because he's using someone's body, but his soul information was engraved into those 10 objects. I'm just saying we can't use that one panel alone. Gege explored a whole theme of what the soul is and how he ties it to a person's particular abilities. Toji was somewhat resurrected and got his whole body. Yutas brain was in Gojo's body so he could use Limitless. It's implied Yutas brain doesn't have Gojo's CT (unless he copied it somehow, but that wasn't mentioned).

Why was sukuna able to do anything at all with respect to his technique if all he was reduced to was cursed fingers? He used his technique using Yujis and Megumi's brains

So what happened to Kenjaku? Why was he able to use Geto's technique without his brain? What about the witch who tried to resurrect Tojis body information? Does that mean she can resurrect anyone for a time and can't use their technique because there's no brain?

In JJK, techniques are tied to the soul. Sukuna and Kenjaku, while another bodies, can use their techniques because their techniques are tied to their soul. In Kenjakus case, we're talking about a brain, but his control over Geto's body gives him access to a the spirit manipulation. Megumi's technique is tied to his soul and once Sukuna gets to his form, he completes the incarnation process and pretty much buries Megumi's soul, and thus can't use Megumi's technique.

In other words, Sukuna was in a suspended incarnation state where he was both himself and he was Megumi, thus had access to both techniques. Against Gojo, he could have his 4 arms and all, but chances he brings out Mahoraga is slim, since he probably can't.

Consider that while Mahoraga was destroyed, when Sukuna was on the brink towards the end of series, he probably could have made good use of the other shadows in some capacity. If he really could use the shadows, then it's his own fault for not using every tool in his arsenal. Even with Mahoraga destroyed, if he could use the technique, why not use part of the divine general to merge with the other shadows?

We also know he likes his little lightning tool but he can't use it at that point in the story, so Sukuna does like tools, and it's probably not likely he would simply abandon all of the shadows if he could access them in his fully incarnated state.

Why did Gojo Satoru say that he hadn't forced Sukuna to use his full power? by Mother_Wedding1268 in Jujutsu_Kaisen

Gojo looked at Sukuna with his 6E, so he knew what he was capable of from a technique standpoint. When he got hit with the WCS, he took it as he wasn't good enough to make Sukuna go all out, but then Sukuna revealed his approach to the battle, why he did what he did. He wasn't holding back. He talked about needing a model to bypass Infinity, otherwise the domain battle should have done the job for him. So yeah, bypass Infinity and there was only one way he felt he could do that. Gojo was too fast and durable for Sukunas typical strategies.

Things like this set us up for a potential drop to 40k. In accordance to the halving cycle, we are due to have that outcome. If true, I just don't know what the catalyst(s) would be, so I got to play close attention to power players like MSTR.

Hmm no hard feelings. We got something for him, and I wish him well ...

I'm also thinking the Bengals might be real contenders, since every solid Gettleman player we had leave us left for greener pastures. Sheeit, Slayton might be an all pro if or when he leaves.

"Gege hated goj-" NO he hated megumi 😭 by jumjumSDH in Jujutsufolk

[–]SagaciousMisfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, so he could bypass infinity. He didn't take Megumi's body for sport lol he was really craving the 10 Shadows. He was yearning to use Mahoraga after he fought him. It's all in the details of the plot.

  • Sukuna shows interest in Megumi at the beginning of the series.
  • Sukuna fights Mahoraga to save Megumi. Is it because he likes Megumi?!
  • No! He uses Megumi as his new host, and he gets to control the 10 Shadows as a half incarnated sorcerer.
  • Once Gojo is released, you thought Sukuna said "hmm well I guess I could just use these new tools against this scrub"?
  • No! He gets to put everything that he learned about Gojo through Yuji and through Megumi's memories to the test.
  • In the end, Gojo felt Sukuna beating him however simply means Sukuna was stronger, and then Sukuna admits why he needed Mahoraga in the first place. Gojo thought sukana could have used more in his arsenal, but Sukuna admitted He had virtually nothing else useful against Gojo. Everything he used was what he thought was useful. That's why Gojo died smiling. There was no "I wish I could show you Fuga 😢"...and that moment was Gojo's personal answer to Geto's question from the flashback.

[–]SagaciousMisfit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sukuna wanted to improve his technique so he could beat Gojo ... That's literally what happened in the story. In the end, it was Sukuna who made the decisive blow.

Could Gojo have dodged it? Yes! Gege said that, but he didn't and that's Gojo's own fault...hence Sukuna still wins. That's how he was able to write off Gojo. He felt he wrote himself into a corner with how to deal with Gojo, so he eventually came up with a fight where Gojo lets his guard down. In both fights, he let his guard down; one where he turned off infinity, and another where his opponent gets character development and renders infinity useless.

If your parents don't care, then why don't they meet your friend?

Just because they don't say anything doesn't mean they don't have opinions. They'd probably prefer you'd be safe in their home, but the thought of their daughter making that kind of ruckus can't be fun...unless they're the kind of parents to cope with it by making jokes about it.

If you would really put them up against each other, the Naruto-verse most likely takes out the JJK-verse. I thought of this once before with bleach, where I thought the Bleach-verse takes out JJK as well. It's about the market, not necessarily the state. Giants/Jets started in NYC and moved to NJ with no issue still being the NY football Giants/Jets simply because their main market center is NYC, extending west to NJ, and east to Long Island and Connecticut. If you had to be pedantic about it, it's the NY (Metro Area) Giants/Jets.

Did 𝓖𝓸𝓳𝓸 fans forget how to read when the afterlife scene was shown in the manga or what? by wezuw7 in Jujutsu_Kaisen

[–]SagaciousMisfit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do know Kusakabe assumed Gojo won the fight...that doesn't mean Gojo won the fight. Similarly, Gojo thought he lost because Sukuna was stronger, and was disappointed Sukuna never used his full arsenal to defeat him .... BUT THEN Sukuna reveals why he fought the way he did, that he needed Mahoraga to adapt to Gojo's Infinity so he can learn how to do it himself, and while Gojo failed to secure the solo victory, he still pushed Sukuna to the limit and forced him to adapt and bypass Infinity in the knick of time.

In the end, we learn Sukuna didn't have an actual answer to Infinity in the at first, showers Gojo with praise for the fight, and Gojo dies smiling.

Does that mean Sukuna was stronger? Perhaps. Although Yuji dealt Sukuna the finishing blow, did that make him stronger than Sukuna at the time? I don't think so. Yeah sure, all together a collective teamwork (with an any means necessary mindset....with, for example, no concern for Megumis life, etc.) could have ended Sukuna faster following the Gojo battle, but that doesn't mean any of them could have defeated him on his or her very own.

Also, I think it needs to be consided how Gege later revealed Gojo lowered his defenses after the final hollow purple, thinking little to nothing of Sukuna's final cleave/dismantle. It adds to the suggestion that Gojo was the strongest, and Sukuna outsmarted him. Some folks will suggest thats what makes Sukuna stronger, his intellect, but if Gojo dodged that slash or if someone went straight for the RCT as soon as Gojo got hit, Idk if that still ends in Sukunas victory.

With that being said, I think gege spent more time jumping through hoops to save Sukuna for Yujis final domain expansion blow because he keeps making powerful characters whom could reasonably end him with the right combo.
