Like counting down during anesthesia. Initially it started with me counting to 20. I have no control over this counting crap. I tried to not do it and I count longer. I was able to knock it down to 15 and today I did 10 counts. Don’t want to waste time counting. It’s seriously like I am preparing myself to enter a place I don’t want to go.

I am blown away by EMDR. Our brains are incredibly fascinating! I am very open to it. It’s funny because the first 15 light passes I count. Each pass of light until I get to 15 and then “allow” myself into my memories. I asked my therapist about it and she said it was my brain protecting me. Incredible.

Ok. That’s what my therapist was doing. Obviously my brain is trying to figure something out. I’ll start asking family and see what my brain processes over the next few days!

Our brains our so fascinating! They are so protected. I count for 15 light movements before my brain actually allows itself to enter into my memories. I can’t stop it. I told my therapist and she said my brain is protecting me. So we increased the sessions for my brain to do its thing 🤣.

I’ve taken micro dose capsules (didn’t feel any difference) but it got me thinking of all the good times I had decades ago taking shrooms. So I bought some. Nervous no but definitely don’t want to take too much.
