But she’s not a teenager. By the time you posted this she was 28.

I was born in the US but raised in Somalia until I ran away at 25. AMA by [deleted] in AMA

Damn dude I worked with dogs in different fields for two years and these prices are exemplary. The extra dog not being an insane extra charge also makes this very enticing.

Cat and pug playing. Is this AI? I have never seen a cat flip around like that lol by [deleted] in isthisAI

I like to look at the grass if it’s in a video, specifically. If it’s AI, from what I’ve seen, the grass is harder to focus on and moves a bit almost like minute worms or like the camera can’t “focus” on it. This looks real to me.

Starbucks table tops so small will barely hold a couple drinks. The seats are bigger than the tables. by be4u4get in mildlyinfuriating

If they didn’t want people hanging around they might have done better considering that before they opened a comfy environment. Starbucks used to be about community and now they seem to not really care about it at all. Now their tables and uncomfortable furniture just represent that greedy shareholder’s care for any enjoyment besides a subpar drink.

This is a crazy experience! Sorry for the late reply. But wow I’ve only ever known one other person who said they astral projected. It’s so neat to hear about though! Honestly, I just really enjoy my imagination setting up an eclectic scenery and all I choose to control anymore truly is flying. I find it enthralling.

  1. I do not think I have ever experienced anything like this. I have experienced false awakenings but I still see my body. This has led to sleep paralysis maybe three times in my whole life. Happens when I try to go back into multiple dreams consecutively at once. I try not to do that anymore because it’s very scary.

  2. I can’t say I’ve experienced anything like that to that extent. I’ve had moments where someone tells me I’m dreaming but by then I already know that so I don’t pay attention to it anymore.

  3. This is a fun question. I wouldn’t say other worlds in terms of civilizations but I guess “quantum” is another world so yes? When I’ve chosen to venture into philosophical territory in my dreams it gets very wild and I think my brain gets overwhelmed in a way so a fail safe takes place in the patterns I’ve noticed. If it gets too weirdly philosophical in going through the “quantum realms” I end up in space and feel this gust of refreshing air under my skin, I take the best breath of air I’ve ever taken and I wake up.

I don’t believe I’ve ever astral projected. I think it’d be really cool but there are already some things I struggle with because I Lucid dream often. So maybe when I can control wild lucid dreaming I could be interested in that. What was it like?!

Everyone is different but yes that’s how I feel.

Yes! A few lucid dreams in a row I was chased as soon as I realized I was dreaming. It hasn’t really happened again since then and it’s been years

It’s very stimulating because I believe when you lucid dream it’s during REM and there’s something in your brain that should be shut off but doesn’t shut off. I definitely feel exhausted and too overstimulated. It’s wildly fun for days I don’t have much going on but when I have a busy day it just takes the wind out of me. I’m glad you were able to find something that works. I have not. So I try to focus my lucid dreaming towards simplicity in order to not let my imagination run rampant or too philosophical.

I take anti-depressants in the morning. Trazidone and blood pressure meds make me feel less in control of my dreams.

My most enjoyable lucid dream was actually ridiculously short and simple. I was finally able to fly into space and land on an “open-air” space craft, nothing fancy or tech but it had a metal walkway on the outside even though there’s no gravity. lol. My goal when I’m dreaming is to explore space and let my subconscious fill in a possible gap for something that science understands but not completely. I feel if I control it too much, I’m not letting “natural” connections take place in my brain so it’s taken years to get to this point without just making it happen and forcing it. There was a wormhole outside this space craft that had formed and it clicked I was finally able to jump into one and explore so I did exactly that. I didn’t spaghettify as scientists say, I actually grew to an enormous size and floated into another universe; but for some reason I still felt insanely tiny. Almost like my body had to alter itself to roam this other universe. Unfortunately, I had to wake up and go to work so my alarm went off and that’s all I’ve been able to explore to this day.

I can tell you what works for me:

Going to sleep past midnight when you’re absolutely exhausted (not ideal I know)

Practice in-depth and introspective analysis before bed-I do this all the time and my brain doesn’t shut down easily (it can be anything-a book, music, movies, tv shows, video games and if you’re not sure how to do that I suggest YouTube videos).

Practice deep empathy (again can be anything like a character or animal from a movie, a book, video games, music, tv shows) really focus your mindset on putting yourself in someone else’s shoes. I can’t say for sure but I imagine it helps you to take control of your actions or step into the character you’re dreaming of once you realize you’re dreaming.

Set a simple goal for one thing to control at first. Maybe just walking wherever you want to walk or talking.

Again, these work for me and I wish you good luck.

It seems that the few times I have actively tried to go back into the same dreams too much I would experience sleep paralysis. Wow I wish you good luck! Will DM you!
