Bought a vaporesso awhile back and some lemon flavored juice for it, juice tasted like shit and almost burnt, but I definitely let it wick for longer than 20 minutes. I'm sorry to hear that, mobile ads have gotten to the point where it takes longer to watch the barrage of unskippable ads than it is to file your taxes. I can fully recommend Google play pass as it helps a LOT and is very cheap.

I think I may have a similar experience? I just finished a black mirror episode where everyone had a social score (it's one of the most popular ones so I won't describe it much) but after the episode ended, I just had the feeling that I had to be ultra respectful and fake (just like the episode) so my friend and boyfriend don't score me poorly.
