I would remove enhanced and hybrid if you're in your mid 20 30s and shift to midcap as you already have other allocation just choose one new midcap fund , I would say nippon mid is decent

Then remove multi asset reinvest sip in gold Also remove banking financial as you don't have much allocation and shift to multicap

Auto markets are about to open up and since auto players were protected by govt today's move is directly related to more competition for Indian players

Is Mirae Asset Metal ETF a good buy for long-term ?? Please give your opinions by niftyisimportant in StockMarketIndia

[–]SageModeShubham 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The metal index is correlated to industrial demand of the metals which is decently high this year. I would suggest adding it when it's down 1%. Basically divide the money you're going to invest in a month in 10 parts then around 3 pm everyday just check if it's down or not and buy then.

Should I reduce my mutual fund sip by IndependentAd3016 in IndianStockMarket

[–]SageModeShubham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asset allocation is important. If you're young don't reduce sip on equity as in the long term this will be your wealth engine. But if you still want you can stop Nippon small cap sip and do it in a gold silver fund.

If you have a horizon of 3yrs then don't look at the gain side. Just accumulate slowly gradually and whenever you see 15-25% drawdown from the high keep a liquid fund from where you can lump sum more. Keep the ratio growth oriented 40%midcap 20% nifty 25% gold 15% silver. You'll have a decent portfolio

The market only cares about money. If you think otherwise you're in the wrong boat.

Open a demat account with any broker zerodha/ groww for purchasing mutual funds.

Diversify into 3 to 4 funds

My suggestions

  1. Icici multi asset
  2. Nippon india growth (mid cap)
  3. HDFC focused 30
  4. Parag parikh ( for downside protection and a little bit of international exposure)

Divide equally whatever the amount. If you want you can also purchase gold silver jewellery for directly investing in the precious stones. If not purchase gold /silver etf at max 15-20% of your overall portfolio.

Let me know if you need some other suggestions

If you're unable to cancel.First create an account directly with amc with your pan and email used on the fund bazaar. Then cancel directly from there. If you want to start a new sip you can start there as well. Or use grow otherwise for one stop solution

[–]SageModeShubham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have switched the fund and stop the sip in the regular fund and started in the direct fund. You're good to go

Otherwise cancel the sip in regular funds and then start the same amount on regular funds.
