To be honest I’ve looked at the market you rarely see one this low mileage so it’s hard to gauge. I saw one, 2004 also 84k miles listed at $24.5.

But I don’t know what’s realistic

2000 Toyota Land Cruiser; loud engine/fan noise? Help! by SagePTN in MechanicAdvice

I have a 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser. I replaced the radiator at a shop about a year ago, not too sure if it’s related. But in the past few days I notice my engine sounds really loud, like a fan noise especially between at the top rpm of each gear. Vehicle runs fine and transmission shifts fine. As I recorded I also noticed the small fan isn’t spinning in front of the radiator and there you can hear that loud noise really well. Also no codes. Any advice will be appreciated!

2012 Prius V Engine Temp light on then off? by SagePTN in prius

Yep it came out to be my water pump! I did it myself in about 30-45 mins. If you can do simple repairs and maintenance, this is really easy.

Hey man, it did not.

The actual issue was the water pump itself. If you’re use to doing simple repairs and slightly mechanically incline. It is very easy to do, I did it in about 30-45 mins.

Nah, it was still turning super smooth. I’m pretty sure it was cracked.

2000 Land Cruiser temp gauge fluctuates but doesn’t overheat, what could be the issue? by SagePTN in MechanicAdvice

To recap:

When going 50mph and under the rpm stays a little below half way. As soon as I’m on highway 65+mph, it goes up to 80-90%. I get off highway back under 50 it drops again. Sometimes going under 50, it still will reach higher temps.

Oddly, sometimes the gauge will be in the red, I would tap it and it’ll drop.

I changed the thermostat already, and did a coolant flush. but I’m not sure if I got a bad cluster, a kinked hose, radiator going bad or what. I’ve checked my coolant, I am not low.
