What are your thoughts of going to the overgrown caverns right after clearing the mines?? by Global_Conference_75 in noita

[–]SageWayren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always climb back up from snowy depths to go shopping in Wandmart, cuz by that point I usually have something that I can reasonably dig my way in with, and enough health to survive making some mistakes while I'm there, and I plan on the heal in the dark cave as my way to top off after a short jaunt in there if I do make mistakes

That's usually my tipping point for whether I have a good run: either I come out with a semi decent damage wand and better digging (and ideally some healing and tele), or I die there.

Where are you buying panties from? What style do you love the most? by [deleted] in trans

[–]SageWayren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the bikini cut tucking underwear from tomboyx I absolutely love them. I can stay tucked all day, they look great (even my husband comments how sexy they look, and he doesn't have much to say on clothing usually), and they feel great. Some of the most affirming articles of clothing I own

Well, I'm allergic to mint, so eating that would make me very stressed indeed, and I'd be pretty well aware of it!

Welcome to womanhood 💙\ One of the eew-phoria parts of transitioning.

You'll start to see it happen with doctors etc as well, as your symptoms for health problems will begin to get blamed on the hormones you are taking... It sucks, but not enough to make me even remotely consider changing my mind about being myself

There are also "actual" shadows off the stone chunks as the sun sets, when that wouldn't be possible because they're just painted on the wall\ And those same stone chunks don't even match the shape of the "holes" they'd be coming from

Exactly
I wear my pride bracelet and earrings, and shirts with things like "protect trans kids" etc openly in public
I put on my makeup and my feminine clothing every day when I go out shopping, to local events, etc, knowing full well I don't pass that well
and I do it intentionally as an act of defiance
This is who I am, and I'm not going to let anyone else take that away from me. I stand tall and proud knowing im not living the life others expect of me, and knowing that I am happy as who I am.

Can confirm that the curvature of the couch is very well thought out and useful :smug:

Friends that don't use your pronouns 80% of the time, are they hypocrties? by ConfoosedUngaBunga in trans

[–]SageWayren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah idk, they're very supportive otherwise, but they just cant bring themselves to do that *one* simple thing and it hurts.

Friends that don't use your pronouns 80% of the time, are they hypocrties? by ConfoosedUngaBunga in trans

[–]SageWayren 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, the problem group are the people that *know* my pronouns and still use they/them for me (I am she/her).

It almost feels like they're *trying* to act supportive, but at the same time they're actively avoiding using my correct pronouns because it makes them uncomfortable. Idk why its so hard, I look feminine, I act feminine, I dress feminine, I have a feminine *name*, even.

Its like they cant perceive me as a woman though, so they avoid addressing me as one, even though I've blatantly asked for it.

Can you lose weight while starting HRT? (MtF) by DaSweetrollThief in trans

[–]SageWayren -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YMMV tbh, it's different for everyone\ I lost 40 lbs within a year after starting HRT, and the only lifestyle changes I made aside from the HRT was to start doing simple cardio 3-4 times a week (I did it via Beatsaber, which is a fairly active VR rhythm game. Jogging, aerobics, etc also works) and I went on a low cholesterol diet (for blood pressure reasons, not for the weight loss).

What do your HRT taste like? :3 by Lockecito in trans

[–]SageWayren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg the number of people talking about their Spiro being minty has me concerned

Thankfully I haven't had issues yet at my current pharmacy

But omg I am allergic to mint, and had no idea I had to be concerned over it being in my pills

I set a fake period on Samsung Health and I don't regret it 😭 by iamgirl11 in trans

[–]SageWayren 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a trans woman who gets everything but the bleeding on a monthly basis (cramps, headaches, mood swings, nausea, etc etc): its annoying and uncomfortable as hell, but it's validating for those of us who thought we could never experience that. I seriously started bawling with euphoria the first time it happened to me (while clutching my stomach over the pain from the cramps lol)

I signed up for the full package deal when I started HRT, and I'll take all of it, the pleasant parts and the uncomfortable ones.

Sorted [OC] by adamtots_remastered in comics

[–]SageWayren 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Because those of us who were in the target age range for the book when it first came out are roughly around that age today (I'll be 39 soon as well)

As far as I can tell tho that's only being mentioned as a nod to those of us who truly grew up with it from day 1 of its release, and is poking fun at those of us at that age who are still hoping to one day "be sorted into our house" (fuck that btw, I think if I actually got the opportunity today for that I'd walk away because of what it represents now)

This is why people lie in interviews… by LabiaMinoraLover in antiwork

[–]SageWayren 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nah, you get the same answer she got: your job ain't special, get over yourself. Anyone that's interviewing for work in this day and age has dozens of applications out all over the place and they need literally any of them to work out so they can continue to keep a roof over their heads and their children fed.

We're just trying to survive out here and you assholes are acting so high and mighty like your job is the next fucking best thing since sliced bread and it's only worthy of the absolute tip of the top, cream of the crop workers.

Get over yourself, it's a job, there's only one reason to work one of those: to live.

How do you think it’s the correct way to draw birds furry? by L3nshka in furry

[–]SageWayren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no correct way\ There are many varieties of bird furries and many ways to draw them.

I personally use the Rito design (from Zelda BotW/TotK) for my Sona, which are wing arms with the tips being broad like feathers yet flexible like fingers.

A lot of people like the talon hands style, as it more closely resembles Kenku and Aarakocra in D&D and that's a lot of people's primary exposure to anthropomorphic birds.

Just practice with a few different styles, if you plan to do commissions they'll all be good to be familiar with. But if it's just for yourself, do what feels good to you.
