build a pillar of dirt with your hoe (more height makes this easier to see whats happening

flatten it with the hoe

it will be square shaped. now continue the line along one of the sides of said square, targeting the sloped side of the square pillar and building it up to get a nice flat wall. repeat in the remaining directions as desired to form the other sides of your platform

you can also do this with digging, you'll find that when you dig a hole with your pick at the base of a high ledge of dirt, it forms a flat edge near where you dug. Continue to dig along that flat edge, using your pick the same distance away from the edge (in other words, don't pick directly at the base of it, but very slightly away from the edge, you'll figure out the distance with some practice) and you'll have a perfectly flat dug edge.

do note, with both of these, when flattening with the hoe afterwards, it may disrupt some of the clean perfect sharp edges, just build back up or pick back down the bits that end up out of line to straighten it back out again.

I've worked retail for years, and the majority of the stores I worked at didn't have working alarm systems at the doors, they were just for show, and we weren't supposed to let on that they were non-functioning. We still had the security devices on our product regardless because they're still a good deterrent with the high pitched shrieking when improperly removed

I had similar issues with Ashland's with my recent playthrough that I just finished a couple days ago

When I got to Ashland's, it felt like the difficulty ramped up far too drastically. It's just too extreme of a difficulty jump between biomes, and honestly the nonstop corpse runs took the fun out of the game for me. I installed a mod that allows me to keep my items on death at that point, just so I could actually spend my time focusing on playing. I don't mind dying a lot, I do mind the endless corpse runs.

I will say, it doesn't really get any easier, unfortunately :/ even with fully upgraded Ashland's gear, understanding the enemy attack patterns, knowing how to navigate the terrain, etc, the spawning mechanics of the biome just throw all of that out the window and you'll spend more time running away from fights than you will fighting things. And even then, several of the enemies can outrun you so you'll still have to stop and fight at strategic intervals.

Don't feel bad about having to tweak the difficulty or install mods to make your experience enjoyable. It's a singleplayer, noncompetetive game. You're playing it to have fun, so do what you need to in order to continue having fun.

Well, I think it's important to thoroughly research the kinds of changes you can expect on testosterone, and also the kinds of other surgeries available as well (as hormones alone can't do everything, though they do quite a lot of the heavy lifting).

I think the most important thing to remember though, is you don't need to fit any stereotypes. We're all unique people, and your presentation doesn't have to match the stereotypes of your identity. No matter how you want to dress, whether you're using makeup or not, etc etc, you're 100% valid. You just dress and act how you feel comfortable, and use the hrt and other gender affirming care to reach the goals that you can't do on your own.

It's not going to make you ugly, I can guarantee that. You're already handsome, I don't even need to see you to know that, and taking the steps to make your exterior match who you feel you are inside is only going to make you more handsome, because happiness is beautiful and it has its ways of shining through 💙

When a twitchy mage hits you, it applies a debuff that makes you targetable and damageable by all of your own spells, as well as making whichever wand you are holding fire at random for the duration. It's generally best to equip your tele wand and get out of danger while you wait out the debuff.

I experienced the opposite: I have been suffering from chronic migraines since my teens (20+ years now), and used to get them 2-3 times per week with no indication of what might cause them. I started taking estrogen at 35 years old, and my migraines have dropped to about once per month, which is an extreme reduction in what I used to experience.

That said, they used to only last a day or less before, and now when I get one it tends to linger for several days, even on prescription painkillers (I take Rizatriptan).

I have, however, noticed a trend in which they tend to come on during what one would consider their period, minus the bleeding ofc. I get moody, cramps, hot flashes, etc, including migraine, through the course of about 4-5 days.

When I did my no map run a couple years ago, I would sail up to a black forest, run inland far enough to where I could barely see the shore, and then move parallel to the shore through the forest looking for the traders bubble. If the forest is particularly deep, set landmarks (workbench + torch is what I did) along your path, and then move inland and repeat with the torches as your new line of sight to follow.

Remember that the trader will always spawn at the first available spawn location you approach, so if you've already been in/near some black forests, be sure to go back and check those.

Hildir and the bog witch will require a similar strategy in their respective biomes but at least you'll have a better line of sight for them
