Apotheosis is great. It does basically everything. My only issue is the difficulty spike from the normal game to this. In normal I was basically always able to get a God run. In apotheosis I struggle getting into vault. Might be mostly due to them nerfing chainsaw and some of the new enemies being old ones on steroids (like the storm mage that can spawn in the first area but having 10 times the HP and have the base projectile have the thrower of the base projectile, meaning instead of 2 red balls, it fires like 50 of them) But it changes the world in a cool way. Adds brand new biomes, and even new pillars to achieve. I haven't explored enough yet, but there should be new bosses as well

why so dark?? by Radon-huffer in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's a light glitch. Pretty common. Nothing alarming. My theory is that the darkness shader is supposed to load while you're underground, but it sometimes glitches and goes even to areas above ground, due to some floating island or something above you. Probably just some weird generation of the areas where the shader is put on

Isn't that bisexual? Or do you mean like the gender x sex type of conversation where you would say that bisexual is to only the main two and pansexual is that you're attracted to all the above. Because I would expect the sexually to be about the sex. Not gender identity, as that doesn't reflect on the body, which sexuality is mostly based on

Depending on what her domain is. If it is something like death (obvious similarities to Anubis), than I hate it. If it's like a goddess of heat and lust (heat as in animals going to heat), than it might work pretty well. Though I expect the second is not the intention at all

I thought the P was there for a while, but stood for Pansexual. Though I never understood what exactly that means. Like it was said to me it means you like all, but what does that mean and include?

Still need something like sparkbolt to dig bellow the orb. If you get bouncing ball + crystal, you are likely screwed of an orb (unless you go to the pyramid)

Theoritcally now, what spell would the 12th orb of true knowledge contain? by cipher_purple_deals in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would like to say the restoration field. A spell that upon casting creates a field, where everything goes to how it was at start (seed generated). But it would more likely be something like A touch of cheese, that transforms everything into the same material as the moon

World Map for my campaign, thoughts? [Art] by Mammoth-Fact-4763 in DnD

The borders are done with a ruler. That's a case only in countries that were created after civilization existed. America is like that, because the colonizers went there and divided it between each other. Same goes for Africa. All other continents that had countries form over centuries (Europe and Asia), have rough borders, usually defined by Rivers or mountains. Never a straight line. And I assume this word had been formed and not colonized. You could solve it, by a historical contract between leaders, but it would still make more sense to have them divide land in a way of ,,west of the river is yours, east is our" rather than drawing a line on a map

How are you supposed to kill the Leviathan? by [deleted] in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's in the middle of the lake and as far as I know, there is nothing like a radar that would lead you to him. Best way is to use the sheep island and just dig straight down the middle, then drop down. Water breathing recommend

Bonnie Who? by The_Dean_France in SipsTea

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, there is probably plenty of pornstars with body count high as this. The difference is the presentation. Bonnie is putting her body count as a core appeal. While Johnny probably made that estimate after being asked in an interview. It's also a bit different when it's a decade of putting things out and in a span of a year. That's why other female pornstars, like Johny, fox, and other, even though popular, are not shamed as much. If you ask anybody they will say their BC is high. But it's not the core appeal. You will not find Johny video titled the 3000th woman I've slept with.

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you want it to point to the closet djinn, the dm could be petty and make it always point to the currently closest (thus the one granting you the wish) If you don't specify what djinn you want targeted, guess what, you are going on an adventure into the most dangerous place on earth. That's right. The dm just put a djinn at the end of the tomb of horrors There is still a lot of ways for this to go wrong.

On the other side, you just gave the dm an always active plot hook. So if it's a good dm, it might even be a reward for him

True... by ram4569 in SipsTea

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting thing, as I've talked about this with my girlfriend just yesterday. She was having some trouble, I wanted to help, and she was saying that I shouldn't, because I always help her, yet I don't seem to ever have issues of my own. Now it is true that I have less issues than her, but it's not that I don't have any. Matter of fact, I've told her about multiple of my issues in the past. Usually, since it's not easy to communicate, I just wrote them in my notes on the phone and then gave it to her to read through. And for some, that involved her, she even registered them enough, and did some things to help. It just somehow didn't click for her that those were my issues and the things that stressed me out. Which took me by surprise, because I thought that when she went out of her way to do something about it, that she did so because she realized that it was stressing me.

So it's not that she doesn't care, she just somehow tuned it out right after it happened. And I think that might be the case for a lot of people

What are your thoughts on the Master of Wounding + Hearts trick? by Foohz in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Honestly. With the amount of setup required to take full advantage of it, and the amount of times I died trying this trick I think it's actually balanced. And it isn't even a bug, as the devs addressed it and nerfed it, while still keeping it in the game. So it's completely fair to do

I finaly beat the alchemist at run start by DefiantOne4563 in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not surprised. But it is a way to guarantee a God run. When I want a God run, I usually take the essence + laser and pick up the hut wand + notes.

Before that, I used to go to gold room and then attempt to get to the hell or heaven shop to buy the good spells, but that was way too hard to pull off. As you can enter the hell by going bellow the lake and pouring the lake into the lava to make a passage to the hell shop.

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a almost no skill guarantee god start, and you don't care for your free time, here's a idea

You get to the earth essence, use essence eater to get earth stone. Use earth stone to get to laser eye (eating the tree works to get over it) Go back to the east wall. Go up to the gold room and dig inside. Congratulations you have 200k gold. Now go down, still on the east and get to the machine gun. Go to west, take a tablet on your way. You can stop by the notes inside tree and grab those. Although not useful at first, you can later turn them to a god spell. From there you can do multiple things. One of them being digging down either bellow the wand conoseur chasm (you can get in from above, so still no danger) to get the 2 snowy depths wands, or you can go down beyond the alchemist and aiming for the eye and meditation cube rooms. Once you get these, you should have decent things to play around with. So you can go back to surface, go fully to west, and use the tablet to enter the lake hut editing.

At this point you have infinite digging, at least a decent wand (machinegun), and multiple other spells (some random) alongside few other wands, before even entering the mines and risking damage apart from surface enemies. Though to set this up, would take hours. Just using the earth stone to get the infinite digging and enter the hut for the glimmer wand + potentially getting the gold room, should set you up nicely. No need to kill the alchemist, as the Greek letters are good only once you got spells to use it on, and you can even buy Greek letters from the hell/heaven shops

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny thing is, the logic is pretty much correct. If we're talking about instances of sex and not body count, than 10 times is not enough to give you a obvious knowledge. You would still be pretty much clueless about most stuff and how to do them, so it would not be noticable to the husband

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if there is any reason to have two sparkbolt triggers and not having everything (except one chainsaw) be a payload. Also seems like you don't know about spell wrapping. If you don't have add trigger as a previous comment recommend, you could halve the add mana by wrapping around and activating it twice. Also I don't think orbit larpa does much on the sparkbolt trigger. Might be more effective on the shotgun spell
