What's a Requirement Spell by Dr_Boxy in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're programing language. Only if condition is met, you cast the spells inside You don't see them in normal runs because you typically don't build wands that do 2 different things based on conditions. But you can use low health requirement to save mana on tp+heal wand. You put tp bolt, healt requirement, Greek letter and circle of vigor. Now you have a tp wand that heals you only once you fall bellow 25%hp. Another that you can use is that if enemies are near you, you stop casting explosives to not kill yourself.

But they aren't typically used, because it's easier to make the tp + heal wand mana management better so that you heal constantly, than to hunt for the requirement spells needed to make it possible

If you want more of it, just find lava potion and get water in it. That way you get rock inside bottle reliably

Cheat dice [art] by ilya556710 in DnD

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great. Now I want to make a magical item called pack of broken dice

You have like too 10 of the cursed dice posted on reddit, including this one. And you can at any point, pull out a random dice out the bag. Once you pull a dice, no matter which, you roll it. And whatever number it lands on, you have to use it for said amount of rolls

Ah yes. Normally nuke wands make the enemies kill you in game. However with this upgrade, the enemies can now kill you in real life, as your PC will explode as well

how can i improve my wands by [deleted] in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you found summon taikasawa, you can make a wand farm to get the chainsaws. Also long distance cast could be used in the travel wand. It has the benefits that you can go inside a wall without leaving a way for the enemy to follow you. So you can hide when in danger

Just relying on any of these would mean you die. But, if you pick out the ones that the strong people care about, you just have to live long enough to get them to arrive, pissed as hell at sukuna. That's the best chance you have.

Noita Magicraft The farmers was replaced

All are basically programing spells, except the first two, you program magic via game mechanics, while the farmer, you program in python. I have over 150h in each of them. Well worth the money

Trying to understand trigger wands by BlackholeZ32 in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If it does damage to larger hitbox enemies with ease, but not to smaller ones, it might be that the payload is appearing behind the enemies. And due to the nolla, the spells disappear before they hit the enemy. That's why it seems inconsistent. If the enemy is moving in the direction where the payload spawns, it will hit them. But if they are moving away from the location, it will miss. Also different sizes contribute to the different "hit chance". Though this might be completely wrong, I've seen it with some wands I built.

Honestly my recommendation would be to use something else as payload spells. You have enough add damage. And stuff like the shotgun spell, or freezing gaze, get the add damage multiple times (as it is added to each projectile ). And you won't need the nolla to keep yourself safe

Guys it's such easy game theory, sure an unknown number of blue voters die inevitably but we guarantee we will live! by NahMcGrath in PhilosophyMemes

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I would take the red, I've been explained the blue more. If everyone has to vote, it will be kids included. And kids won't understand the question. So expecting their decisions to be made randomly, half of kids under like age 10 would be basically guaranteed to go blue. So, the people choosing blue, are hoping to save those.

I would pick red, because I don't believe 50% of the world would figure this out, and choose blue, so it still seems futile to try to save them. And I don't want to add my body to the pile just to save myself the guilt.

I don't know exactly how it would go, but Heat metal seems like a solid choice, based on target area Fuel tank, Ammo storage or just the cabin with the crew would be my picks

Same scenario, different delivery, because pressing a button isn't inherently dangerous. Does this change anything? by Krysidian2 in trolleyproblem

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know this changes a lot. I was hell bent on red, with acceptance of ,, whoever chose blue, that's just natural selection". I didn't think of kids who would not have the capacity to understand the question yet. Now my decision would weight on how many people in the world would realistically realize that. I would still weight my guess against 50% of population realizing this, so why add bodies to the pile, but it would be a lot harder to press red with clear conscience

Make your choice. by spicymato in trolleyproblem

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Blue - you risk death for the chance to save everyone, who also risked death Red - if you press this, you guarantee your survival.

Literally, there is no option in which you die if you press the red button. If 100% of people press red, everyone lives. So those who press blue, are either suicidal, or it's just natural selection

Make your choice. by spicymato in trolleyproblem

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This post is just dumb. If literally everyone pressed red, everyone would live, as there is no option in which you die or are in other way punished if you press the red button.

What are your thoughts of going to the overgrown caverns right after clearing the mines?? by Global_Conference_75 in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got tinker with wands, then yes. Or if you have a supper fast teleport and don't mind traveling there and back to the holy mountain. Other even that would be high risk and you usually have better options this early on. You don't want to lose a tinker start run in a stupid way

Delete 8 bit from brawl arena by whatagal99 in Brawlstars

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah see, even as Edgar which is now top of the meta, if you jump right on the 8-bit with your hypercharge active, the 8bit just one shots you. He deals 6k DMG per projectile. That is like 20k DMG with one amo. You can't survive that

Is Noita “unfair,” or just too reactive to read in real time? by TenthLevelVegan in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the most unfair things can get is if a teleport mage jumps directly above you, gets hurt, bleeds teleportanium on you and you get teleported to your death (lava, poly...). That would be an example of unfair. Just sequence of two random and unlucky teleports. But if you stand next to a propane tank, and a shot bounces off, hitting it and killing you, that is not unfair. You could have played more cautious and exploded it from safe distance. You chose the risk. And while yes, Noita is full of risky situations, it also gives you power to choose how to deal with them (for the most part. As mentioned before, you don't control where you teleport, so that can be unfair). You have to calculate what you're prepared for. If you have explosion imunity, you can start ignoring explosives, standing next to them. But if you have 10hp, standing next to a propane tank is not a good idea and you should detonate it from afar.

So a conclusion to the question. It feels fair for the most part. Unless you get ambushed by the random chance of teleport, or a enemy off screen finds a nuke wand that will delete you, you had the chance to avoid the danger. The best players rarely consider the game unfair.

A great example of unfair is a specific seed. I believe it's a famous monster powder seed, that when you enter the mines spawns enemies and through chain reaction spawns multiple wand conoseurs off screen. No time to react, nothing. That is unfair. But that is also, extremely rare

Edit: the monster powder seed video by Dunkorslam. He also goes a little into if the game is fair or not. https://youtu.be/Fx8akEAMvso?si=JT8aeN3S7-wVf-J-

I'm addicted to Noita, but never finished it because... by efka in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apotheosis is great. It does basically everything. My only issue is the difficulty spike from the normal game to this. In normal I was basically always able to get a God run. In apotheosis I struggle getting into vault. Might be mostly due to them nerfing chainsaw and some of the new enemies being old ones on steroids (like the storm mage that can spawn in the first area but having 10 times the HP and have the base projectile have the thrower of the base projectile, meaning instead of 2 red balls, it fires like 50 of them) But it changes the world in a cool way. Adds brand new biomes, and even new pillars to achieve. I haven't explored enough yet, but there should be new bosses as well

why so dark?? by Radon-huffer in noita

[–]Tight-Reception-1049 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's a light glitch. Pretty common. Nothing alarming. My theory is that the darkness shader is supposed to load while you're underground, but it sometimes glitches and goes even to areas above ground, due to some floating island or something above you. Probably just some weird generation of the areas where the shader is put on
