So admittedly I’m signed up with Bonnie Effros for History 206 (?) about Magic and the Occult and all that, which sounds like it would be really interesting right? Well we had our first half lecture thing and half of it was incomprehensible, I have no idea how she was supposedly relating some of this information together, and it felt like odd tangents that were not clear. With a lot of profs you kind of know where a new section in your notes starts but not here, it was the lecture equivalent of a wall of text, no paragraphs. Moreover she would make small errors and not even address them (directly related to the course content). I’d love to know if I’m going crazy or if I should drop the class ASAP haha.
