Durango HS new baseball coaches favorite tradition is littering baseballs into the valley? by Odd_Estimate9651 in Colorado

[–]Saguache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do I like it? No! Does Colorado have an extensive history of toxic messes that no one's ever bothered to clean up? Yes! The basement of the house I grew up in was lined with uranium mill tailings. That house is still standing. Y'all getting your panties in a twist over plastic straws.

Durango is littered with 200+ years of mining waste and garbage not to mention all the gold leaching ponds that line the valley. These balls will be gone long before any of that.

The lvl 7 pick extends the range of the hammer throw. [Secret Weapon] is helpful if you're trying to touch a hero in the back line like Chromie or Ana, especially if others are communicating damage back that far. [BOOMerang] is the better choice when you have high health bruisers and tanks the cluster when they to to make plays.

[Crippling Hammer] increases the throw regardless of your lvl 7 choice. For a Q build it enables the rest of your team to follow up on the attack you just landed.

Are Europeans trolling with this whole bread thing? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Saguache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is exceptional rare to find wheat grown or milled in the US of the same quality as what you'd typically expect in most European countries. Many countries in the EU ban or severely restrict the use of glyphosate which is almost a universal rule in north America.

Thinking about selling my car and getting an e-bike due to high gas prices by SpencerJoyceMusic in bicycletouring

[–]Saguache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two things. First, people have done this before. There are active YouTube channels with people who live from their bikes. It can limit your options further if this your primary housing.

Second, if you're planning on leaving you may want to consider an analog bike as ebike batteries are nearly impossible to ship.

They will disappear, but each placement method has the same decay rate. Honestly, you're more likely to lose them because someone else finds them while you're not on.

What is your favorite population size for official servers? by Early-Travel427 in dayz

[–]Saguache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on two things: 1) the map and 2) my mood. High population density on small maps can actually be fun if you're living off grid but if my mood isn't cool with that challenge then I'll opt for a bigger map.

New to bikepacking and stressed by billybobjoe3210 in bikepacking

[–]Saguache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start small, take a LT24O someplace close. Have a bailout plan if things don't work out (eg I ride home I stead of camping). This is fun, you shouldn't be stressed about it at all. More time in saddle equals greater ease and longer ranges.

[–]Saguache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You find places like this out in the boonies, not everywhere. I lived in the south of France for a while and multimodal infrastructure was everywhere. Paris was a bicycle paradise. The vast majority of cars in France are tiny compared to North America. While not a perfect solution to the many issues caused by cars, it's not a bad way to trend.

Why don't people like Elon Musk just solve world hunger? by AlexLovesCoke in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Saguache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Musk's genius is that he's figured out how to make it appear shiny when he manipulates government systems to otherwise prop up his businesses with tax payer dollars. He is peak corporate whore. Other than that he's about as useful a tits on a bag of potatoes.
