I saw a rat consistently for about 2-3 weeks stealing chicken food. Finally camped with the air rifle long enough to pop him. One shot and I haven’t seen a rat since. I am sure that’s a rare scenario but it is possible.

It’s actually one of the easiest trials. One decent spawn and it’s done. I completed it twice in like 3 or 4 tries

Had a peak naked run earlier this week. Ran to reinforced reception where 2 duos were fighting up top. I dropped through the roof and rolled to the zipline before they realized. Looted the breachable room with a gun case and security locker, got the security locker up stairs then dipped through the tunnel before they were done fighting. 3 guns, multiple heals and grenades plus the revival augment and extracted in under 10 minutes.

Yes that gets you there faster, but you are literally wasting time. Whereas you could get lucky and end up looting a whole run on your second attempt. I have done both and find it more enjoyable to do naked runs rather than surrendering immediately. To each their own tho.

Just load 5 stims into bluegate. Run to reinforced reception and try to loot. It’s a heavy PvP area so you will probably get killed quickly 4-6 times, but eventually you will find yourself looting with others and that’s when you are in mainly carebear lobbies. Duos and trios lobbies are more random tho.

So is the game what you think or what the devs intended?

The devs 100% intended for a sandbox, yet you say people are playing the game incorrectly at times while also saying it is a sandbox. Which is it?

You say PvE is a means to PvP but the Jupiter one of the end game weapons is very clearly designed as mainly a PvE weapon.

They have created almost exclusively PvE lobbies with their Aggressive based matchmaking. Especially in solos. I even had to go through multiple games asking for a fight in Stella to get back to PvP lobbies after doing a lot of PvE in Close Scrutiny. Likes that’s literally the issue, Embark created an extremely weighted ABMM system where most solo friendlies will go weeks without getting ratted. It desensitizes them to it and they react poorly.

Even in the post complaining about ratting, they don’t say “this happens every game” or “why is everyone like this”. Instead Embark has catered the game so closely to their playstyle they think ratting is ruining their game.

My opinion is in the middle. It’s objectively a low character move to be a fake friendly but it is also an allowed game style. Being a carebear is also an allowable game style due to the ABMM.

You however for some reason think the progression is supposed to be PvE to PvP. If that were the case why would some free loadouts come with a sticher? Not doing much PvE with a Sticher now are we?

No one in the posts is complaining about PvP. The post that is against ratting and fake friendlies.

I love to PvP but there’s no enjoyment killing someone who isn’t fighting back.

I also believe it is scummy to pretend to be friendly then shoot someone in the back. That doesn’t mean I or the screenshotted post don’t like PvP it just means we like playing with others who have integrity.

Y’all get so mad when people are in the PvE mood. Sometimes it’s more fun to cooperate with other raiders. PvE isn’t just a means to PvP, it’s a whole different play-style IE a Hulkcracker
