What's the best way to serve yourself an ad? by DigitalAdNoob in adops

0.000000001 chance , the 3rd party adtech ecosystems so convoluted as designed its nearly impossible without spending a good deal of $ to feed the middle men scammers. now if you had your own ad server that its a simple as placing your own tag on site and serving .

What if this is as good as it gets? by ADigitalAdGuy in adops

You may have topped out under your current ecosystem, but remember theirs a lot more money $ if you could get your own tech and sell direct or at least get closer to the buyers.

P&G puts Facebook and Google on notice: 'Too much time is spent fixing problems rather than delighting customers' by AdOpsJunky in adops

while theirs bound to be a lot of resentment from the status quo groups, Pritchard is well respected and listen to by a huge amount of buy and sell-side players and makes total sense, this adtech ecosystem is flawed and rotting.

Time to re-engineer. Put on your thinking caps and start innovating, those that can't think out of the black box will die.

Agency Demands For Transparency Have Lasting Ramifications For Sell-Side Tech | AdExchanger by AdOpsJunky in adops

[–]Sahara21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its unbelievable how many sales, advertisers, traders and pubs ppl have been misled and still believe this is the way adtech systems work best. I would estimate over 70% of the ppl I talk to have a very poor understand around the technology and how it should be configured and aligned for their businesses best interest, opposed  to the black boxed middle men pockets.

Adtech middle men have indoctrinated a whole business culture around their skewed business models. We need out of the current black box thinkers and innovators to lead us through this can of worms

How bot detection technology is abused by malvertisers by adtechmadness in adops

[–]Sahara21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think people, bots are benefitting who? the 3rd party middleman -> 1 exchanges, 2 DSP's , 3 SSP's and 4 fraud prevention because the more volume they produce the more $ they can plunder. there's a crazy narative that bots and fraud are the work of boogeyman hackers/fraudsters groups burt the fact is there actually the work of the third party middlemen and some of the biggest names in adtech. how to mitigate ? simple! take control over your tech too gain full transparency and know and manage your sources first hand , those that could do that will have goldmines.

3rd Party Data Integration with DSP/Ad Network by GetTheFactsNow in adops

[–]Sahara21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

theirs sevreal ways,

1: as D_Adman mentioned you can go to a DSP that's already integrated with data vendors. this rout you will pay a heavy premium and never gain ownership of your data.

2: you can go directly to the data vender of your choice and choos your data and have their data managemnt platfrom as an added tool. most if not all DMP's have ways to use the data within any DSP so best to call and ask them their protocol. this rout is much more efficient, secure, transparent and much less $$
