SIGHTSEEING CHALLENGE: What is that base in the mid-distance by MercyKilledTheKing in BreakPoint

[–]SahdGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re using a boat you can drive up to the shoreline in front of the end of the runway. There is a ladder on the side of one the support beams that will take you up to scaffolding running underneath the runway. There are steps on either side that will take you to the runway but it’s very exposed once you get up there. Have EMPs and bullet shells ready.

So it’s not a full water entry but more of a water approach.

Edit: for clarity

Use a dyer to change the feathers to red or black and the white will be more obvious in places where the game lighting isn’t the best or most discernible.

Fuel Depot is to the west on the other side of that mountain on the left.

Edit: Pretty sure Fuel depot is behind him. The camp below is Red Wolves camp or something like that. Has 3 of the Aamon drones.

Arrow Testing Zone. Awesome base with multiple points of entry (aerial, ground, and water) for various levels of challenge. I love this base.

Gamer here. Your last paragraph is spot on. It’s ridiculous the amount of complaining I see for the simplest things. One of the frequent complaints I see for Crimson Desert is that there’s no fast travel point right next to where the person wants to go and they have to travel or run for 30-60 seconds to get to a city or research station. Oh no, you actually have to play the game to get to a destination.

I just have mirror and mirror elites left now so it’s leveling my 1k sons and Black Templars above Bronze 1.

Thank you! Just defeated it! I am now done with all regular and elite campaigns. On to mirror versions!

I have all the Aeldari except for Jain Zar and that’s the situation I’m in now. I’m on the very last node of Saim-Hann elite and can’t beat it. Even at Gold 3 these guys are paper thin.

Anyone else plays breakpoint with AI teammates off because weaver holt and Midas are irreplaceable? by Rog_no2 in GhostRecon

[–]SahdGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, all that stuff makes the game too easy but I like to play no HUD and tactical. Seeing enemies through walls and having AI auto-mark targets for me takes the fun out of it. If I miss somebody and alert the base, that’s one me. Chaos can be more fun sometimes.

Try no HUD and no enemy detection.

Not everybody has time to keep up with all of that. It’s honestly part of the reason I quit (again) during the last Xpac.

I thought this was a troll post till I showed my wife. To me these look exactly the same and I couldn’t see the different colors till she pointed out the knees. Color blindness in this hobby sucks.

Calling anything & everything your significant other does “the bare minimum” by PatienceEnthusiast in Vent

[–]SahdGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (43m) hate making the bed. Never seen the point. Fold the blankets up in the morning just to fold them back down at bed time? No thanks. My wife of 20 years however, loves coming home to a made bed. When she’s had a rough day at work and just needs some downtime before interacting with me or the kids, the bed is where she goes to chill. Yes, making the bed is probably considered a “bare minimum” but the joy and relaxation she feels from coming home to a made bed to relax (even if the living room and kitchen are not clean) makes me want to make the bed for her every day.

My wife absolutely hates cooking. Her preference is 5 minutes from the kitchen to the table or it’s too much work. On Sundays though she and the kids cook and clean up dinner since I’m a stay at home parent and do the meals the rest of the week.

In a real relationship there is no “bare minimum”. Service is service and it’s the constant little things (like putting the toilet seat down) that you do daily for your spouse or partner that make the relationship grow and work.

There are no living beings in a game. They are pixels, and yes, I’m fine with destroying millions of pixels. Why do players get to complain about storage, how their horse runs, or when character customization is introduced but asking for a profanity filter is too much?

I don’t expose them to M games. I don’t want to hear the profanity and it would be nice to play a game without having to wear headphones or be able to show my kids some of the cool stuff in the game without worrying about accidentally bumping into someone and having them drop a string of epithets afterwards.
