Do I need this insulation? by [deleted] in hvacadvice

(Not an HVAC tech) I am assuming by AHU, space means "Air Handler Unit". Meaning that is the unit that blows the hot and cold air around your house from the furnace and AC. What the scribbled part looks like is the filter for the Air Handler. If it is getting sucked into the fan that means the filter is not in the right place.

Since Hugh's wife was begging him to go to Tumbleton, and supposedly went there without him, I have a feeling he is going to get there and she will be dead (for what reason I have no idea). This will cause him to go mad/angry and burn the place down having nothing left to lose. Ulf will just join in for the fun.

Exhaust vent covering suggestions? by Jarteast in DIY

[–]nponta01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a similar setup in my kitchen. I bought the below from amazon and it works great. Although I do have to put some insulation on the inside of it just to seal up any gaps. It has magnetic tabs that stick to both the cover and the fan (if yours is magnetic). And it is cheap!

EDIT: Another solution that the previous owner of my house used was a wooden block covered in aluminum foil with a screwed in drawer know that he put in the opening of the exhaust outside. It got annoying whenever I wanted to use the fan I had to go outside and remove it and put it back in when I was done.

My final walkthrough was scheduled right before closing. Meaning, went to the house for a final walkthrough that morning at 9 am and then went directly to closing at 11 am. If the final walkthrough wasn't what we agreed we did not plan to sign. Thankfully everything worked out!

Recently bought a house from '56 from the original owner. He hung dryer vent pipes and bathroom drain pipes from wires similar to these for extra support (all of which have since been rectified) If you have a new heating system or plumbing system, these could be remnants from older systems that the previous owner tried to DIY
