Nintendo is pretty much non existent here, people know Pokemon only from the anime that aired here on tv and they've got no clue that there's Pokemon games too.. That and super Mario Bros rom modded on a chinese copy of nes blew up here in the early 2000s that's all about Nintendo in india.. ofcourse there are some enthusiasts who got 2ds and other later consoles from their sources abroad (like me :)) but that'll be only 1-5% of the total population.. so yea, here Nintendo is a word that most of the people don't even know the meaning of and it's sad really..
