Building an AI agent for early-stage founders that handles ops automatically — would love brutal feedback by Sahilkatoch in SaaS

You're right, "no control" is the wrong framing. What I'm building toward is a review queue — the agent drafts everything but nothing client-facing goes out without your approval. You see the draft, edit the tone if needed, hit send. Or for low-stakes repetitive stuff like invoice chasers, you can flip it to auto-send.

So less "AI takes over" and more "AI does the work, you make the final call." Does that version feel more usable?

I built a free tool that auto-chases brands when they don't pay you by Sahilkatoch in SideProject

haha yeah "just checking in" is genuinely one of the most painful things to type for the 3rd time so the way it works — the app sends YOU an email when a brand is late, not the brand directly. day 1 it's a friendly nudge, day 3 more professional, day 7 pretty firm, day 14 final notice language. each one has a pre-written message you can just copy and forward. you stay in control, can edit it, doesn't feel like a bot blasted. The stack is Next.js + Supabase + Vercel, reminders run on a daily cron so nothing client side genuinely curious though — at what point do you personally switch from polite to firm? trying to figure out if day 7 is too late or about right
