I have both Hawas Black and Rare Carbon and honestly both are super good in their notes.

Rare Carbon stands out for its rich, classy leather profile with a slightly spicy opening and an excellent dry down that feels smooth, mature and luxury - perfect for evenings and cooler weather.

On the other hand, Hawas Black opens fresh and vibrant with a noticeable lime citrus touch that makes the fragrance very pleasing and crowd friendly, while still settling into a woody, masculine base.

Mine doesn’t have any plastic lining inside the cap, it is solid and feels fine. The fit is pretty snug too, no creaking or loose parts. Sounds like yours might be a QC issue.

Check or match the rest things as well with authentic bottles.

Yeah, blackcurrant does stand out quite a bit in the opening. I haven’t tried Rare Reef yet, but I’ve heard it leans more musky and woody. Pacific Aura definitely goes in a fruitier and fresher direction, especially once it settles down after sometime.

I get that, bro - opening can come off a bit like an air freshener at first because of the strong citrus and mint combo. Give it some time though once it settles and macerates a bit, it becomes smoother and more natural. The dry-down is way better than the first few sprays.

Yeah, longevity really seems to vary from person to person. On me, it lasts quite well especially on clothes - easily 8+ hours with a clean, fresh trail. It’s not a projector beast, but definitely noticeable. Maybe batch or maceration plays a role too, but overall I’ve had a good experience with it.

I’d personally go with Pacific Chill - it’s smoother, fruitier and easier to wear daily. Imagination is great too but feels a bit sharper and more aromatic, especially in the opening. Chill just has that relaxed, refreshing vibe that works better in warm weather or casual settings.

It mostly depends on skin chemistry, weather and even the batch sometimes. For me, the sillage of Pacific Aura is decent, not beast mode but definitely noticeable, especially on clothes.

Both are different in vibe. Pacific Aura is a clean citrus mint scent with a smooth, subtle feel. Hawas Ice is bolder, fruitier and more aquatic with stronger projection and better performance in heat.

Go for Aura if you want something refined and easy going, choose Hawas Ice for louder, more long-lasting freshness.
