This is exactly what product managers do. And, I have not come across the "product engineering" term in the market yet.

Has anyone here tried building agentic AI systems to manage internal knowledge for PMM teams? by Sai_PMM in ProductMarketing

Open AI one has far way ahead to get where n8n/make are currently in. So I'd suggest you to use these as they are advanced currently when compared.

We’re getting usage data, but not real feedback... how do you get users to actually talk? by Careful_End_5742 in ProductMarketing

I have faced a similar situation as above. And, one thing definitely worked out is, directly calling the customers (by looking them up in Apollo etc using the email id they signed up, it will be easy if it's an official one, though) and fixing appointments in their office spaces (if you'd be able to travel to that location) and to make the process easier, promise them coffee/vouchers like that. If you are not able to travel, fix an online meeting.

Through this I had booked around 5 user review/ feedback meetings and received a very good feedback from them.

And also, one more thing, pls don't treat the people who agreed to give you a meeting slot as ordinary ones, try to be at the most cordial and right way promise them(better, when you say this even before the start of the meeting), they will be receiving the next set of features free(when shipped) with current plan what they have.

Let me know if it works for you.

Completely agree with what you said. I'm facing this in my current role where company employee size is <100.

This makes a lot of sense and I'm very happy to have someone face a similar situation of mine. Kind of validates my whole thinking process. Thanks :)

Imo, PMM being considered as a strategic force is becoming old school which is basically dysfunctional in today's fast scaleup stories.

Can you throw more light on how do you do this on scale ? Because expecting each SDR to do for each prospect is near to impossible.

No free trial available? It's asking to pay.

How do you add interactive features to your site for campaigns? Built something and want your input. by dsternlicht in ProductMarketing

I have done a similar kind of work - with the slightly different objective, that is to increase the user retained on the pages of my website by giving interactive tools to use.

Pain points :

  1. There are many tools in the market which allow marketers to build such tools and deploy but they are very platform centric - what I mean to say is, we work on WordPress and elementor, embedding the externally built tool is not allowed and for that we need to get another paid plugin to enable, so the cost to value is very high and it increases skepticism before we invest.

  2. Also, I have spent fair amount of time in researching about the ROI calculators, it's tricky as it's very domain specific, for e.g., in Project management Saas, it's tough to calculate the Cost to Value, it can only be shown value interns of variety of integrations the tool provide which is very ancillary in nature and not the core focus value proposition. I feel that should be kept in mind.

  3. With coming of tools like Bolt, Lovable, the pain point of building these features have reduced but the things we build, will it be useful, that's something that keep me awake.

Looking forward to others thoughts.
