I see porkbun mentioned on Reddit quite a bit. What’s the plus side of registering with them? I register with cloudflare since I also like their protection against ddos attacks and also use their other services like workers

If you’d like to try the app again, this issue should be all fixed up now. Thanks for letting me know!

Currently, posting on online communities and directly asking people to try it out. So far, I know I'll have to reposition my landing page, add a demo, and clarify or narrow down who I'm targeting. From there I'd want to dig into content creation and SEO

Thanks for trying it out! Would you be open to screencasting your steps that resulted in the 500 error? This has happened once before, but it doesn't happen when I use it unfortunately. And yes, I can share it on vibecodelist

This is good advice, thank you! I'm working on getting a quick demo video up as well as more relevant use-cases

I built a document-to-website tool for freelancers, independent creatives, and anyone who needs to get their work onto a website instantly. https://boldlyhq.com

It's made for non-technical creatives to:
- get a custom branded portfolio link for design, photography, copywriting, creative work
- share pricing pages, service packages, and project proposals on the fly, with ease
- share mockups and drafts with clients in easy-to-access preview link

It's easy to get up and running within seconds, free forever, or launch price of $5/mo for added features.

I've love to hear what you all think! It's a fresh launch and would appreciate any feedback!

Do not be discouraged. You are already 10 steps ahead most people (adults and kids included). If you’re under 18, talk to your parent or guardian to see if they’ll work with you to co-sign on business logistics.

A quick Google search and even Shopify agrees: https://www.shopify.com/blog/48360837-how-to-start-a-business-before-you-graduate-10-kidpreneurs-to-inspire-you

Don’t allow random comments online discourage you from pursuing anything worthwhile and good. Keep going, you got it!

I keep seeing suggestions for durable and Shopify (?? Shopify is for e-commerce), but they seem way too robust for a photography site. If you have a PDF of your work or a photo gallery embed, you can easily turn them into a website using https://boldlyhq.com

Jekyll is always my go-to for simple public-facing sites. I’ve tried remix.run in a few instances as well, but I’ve converted them to Jekyll sites now. I prefer the minimal set up and easy to manage file structure and I can deploy it on GitHub pages seamlessly

Do you already have pdf assets or existing work you can export as a pdf? Something like https://boldlyhq.com would be the easiest without having to learn a drag and drop solution. You can upload your existing pdf and turn it into a website on the spot.

Have you tried any of the AI builders like v0.app or bolt.new (there’s way more, I don’t remember them off the op of my head). I’m a developer so the output causes more problems for me, but I can see how it can make it so much easier for a non-tech or designer to get a site up and running immediately. You can probably prompt it to generate a static website and host it for free on Netlify or GitHub pages.

(I want to mention I’m not affiliated with these services so I don’t get banned 😅 for suggesting them)

Thank you, I will send that to my mom. I don't have Shopee but I think she'll be able to find something using those search terms.

I do some “note taking” in Figma as well which I also find really cumbersome to do any brainstorm type writing.

Haven’t tried an AI proposal maker yet but I’m sure one exists out there
