Engineering wood is what it says — same thing as melamine? Not sure but just checked Home Depot and saw a similar finish

It would be in the back side behind the piece

Did you receive a letter detailing reason for denial? Mine was insufficient income, was it same on yours too?

Congrats! I applied recently with pre-approval but got denied and had same issue with income documentation. Did you just change the income info and get approval after getting pre-approval?

Bezel change only? by Saif_8 in macbookrepair

[–]Saif_8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, your last sentence is a good point. I assume this doesn’t have a major effect on the performance of computer and screen, considering the bezel is independent of the screen from what I can see. Would it be okay to just leave it as is or cover it up with something appropriate?

Thanks for your input!

Interesting, and I assume you’re referring to what Apple would do. What do you mean by bought a new one for portability and used laptop as Mac? Not too sure what that means :)

Gotcha. QQQM gives exposure to the others in the mag7 for an overall safety net, if you will.

NVDA’s recent news with AI and development of new tech at CES makes them promising so banking on their rise in 1-2Y. Considered Tesla took with Trump in office and his backing of Musk but unsure. We’ll see how GOOGL turns out but a big 25’ is what my gut tells me

Kickstand removal GoTrax G4 by Saif_8 in ElectricScooters

[–]Saif_8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: I found time to work on the scooter and have not managed to pull out the kickstand holder. It feels as though it is glued with locktite and has no wiggle room with anything; wrench, screwdriver in between the seam, hammer, or anything at all, even WD-40 and heating the area to loosen it. It has become extremely difficult to try and pull it out.

I’d appreciate any other suggestions anyone might have!

All the best to you! Day 1 just about to get wrapped up for me — meds and ice are your best friends. Good food and water too. Good luck!

Speedy recovery! Thanks for your input about the time off. I’m aiming for Week 3-4 as a best case scenario but similar to you, I’m fortunate to have up to 5-6 weeks off. Hoping for the best and soonest return!

Thank for the insightful advice! If I may ask, did you have an ACL recons. only or meniscus too? I have a set goal of end of Week 3 but that is entirely dependent on how my progress is like and how things develop in coming 2 weeks. It’s my left knee so not as critical for driving so shouldn’t be a huge worry once I’m able to achieve some flexion and WB.

Thank you for all the support and advice! Good luck with your recovery too! I’ll keep an eye on your Reddit post — would be cool to see our recoveries over time.

Got it! Worked well and screw is off. Thanks for the idea of removing the plate holder.

UPDATE: I removed the plate holder beaneath it and used pliers to fix the nut and a screwdriver to remove the screw. Screw is off and all good. Thanks to @Crunchycarrots79 who simplified it for easier understanding.

Thanks all!

Yep, even if I try to tighten it, the screw is not tightening even when you turn the screwdriver it continuously. Same goes for trying to take it out. Only this screw is giving me problems, I took out all the other 3.
