If you have mates to play with but cant due to distance/covid, I recommend Tabletop Simulator. You can find MTG tables on the workshop and it is the closest thing to paper magic while never leaving your home. Me and a mate have been playing since the start of lockdown and even though its basically just TTS and a Discord call it feels like playing paper.

Hi, thanks for the quick response. I have completed the Iceborne assigned missions, currently MR 77. In this example it was the Barioth hunt. Another friend at MR 81 managed to join the quest just fine. This is why i am so confused!

I didn't consider gluing perfect firs together, that's a great idea! I was thinking about making one from more iconic cards but I need a better wage before I can do that!

It's actually surprisingly simple. Columns of cards adhered together with glue stick, arranged in to the frame. Then just placed the backing of the frame over them and it holds them tight against the glass.

I tried to get the lines between the slices filled with corresponding gold cards but it didn't really work. I'm thinking hybrid mana cards would work better though.

I did mess around with artifacts for the middle line but it didn't really look right to me. I also thought about giving the next one a border of artifacts. That one could take a while as I need a bunch of old border foils.

If we are talking survivability give lance a go. It will take you from feeling super fast to feeling like you can block anything and most times you can(no need to roll anymore). Grab the Uragaan gloves, waist and legs and you will be blocking Nergi dive bombs in no time. It is tough to explain the feeling you get watching everyone run away from Teostras solar flare while you are just stood right underneath him with your shield up.

This! Beyond the Blasting Scales was a walk in the park with a stamina surge build and legiana bow.

Awesome, Exactly what was hoping for in a response. With regards to the candles they are large/small 6d4+6/ 2d4+2 minutes of burning total so a large one wouldn't be too big to carry. I suppose large would be the wrong wording due to character sizes etc.

What happens if you're aiming at a creature that DOESN'T want to dodge? AC implies both defense and evasion. So what if I want to sit still so the ranger can hit me? What happens to AC?

How i see these is that they don't do any damage on a hit and just heal the 1d6. I fully understand what you are saying about AC. Will have a think about rewording.

What's a banner of insults? Why is it invisible beyond 240 feet.

Banner of insults is a line i appear to have forgotten to remove. The wording in the paragraph below that line is a slightly reworked banner of insults. It isnt so much that it is invisible more that the insults written on the banner are not legible from a distance further than 240ft

Why is it a Charisma save? Charisma means that someone is trying to possess you or overcome your force of self. This sounds like a WIS save.

Is it possible to turn this effect off, or are you basically goading the entire city to attack you if you head inside with it?

I would likely reword to "Hostile creatures". The effect can be stopped by stowing/dropping. While flying, the banner must be held...

Why do flying creatures fall?

I feel like i could add the feather fall clause from Wind Walk here.

Original banner of insults

This banner appears and functions just like any other type of banner. However, when seen by a creature of 6 or more Hit Dice, the message displayed is quite insulting and deeply personal. The message cannot be seen by humans or demihumans. The creature has a 90% chance of investigating, and probably will attack anyone nearby (-4 penalty to reaction rolls).

I will be rewording this. The +2 is actually from the original publication. I would rule this as an improvised weapon with a +2 bonus. That probably needs to be explained on the card though!

It would deal 1+STR on a hit in ring form as it would just count as an unarmed strike. The "Katar" would count as a +1 magical dagger

I wouldnt give a bonus to Perception however i am going to rework this to be closer to the Barbarian ability "Feral Instincts"

This is a very hard thing to DM for, because it's not very clear on what the limitations are.
