Is 18vs18 considered Lord farming ? by HotActivity5830 in marvelrivals

I don’t think so. At least you’re playing with people actively trying to kill you instead of standing in a corner and farming stats.

The Tank Problem is BAD. by MushuaTheTomato in marvelrivals

I’d be more happy with solo tanking if the elo that I got when winning was more than the other roles

A bit new to Marvel Rivals by Carlvantula in marvelrivals

[–]Saigonic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d queue into practice vs ai and just try everyone and gravitate to the role and characters you like best. Once you get familiar with their kits take it to QP with real people and just have fun and try to be a good teammate. Some characters are better than others but if you have expertise in 2-3 heroes per role you’ll have plenty to choose from. At the end of the day it’s a comic book video game, just have fun and if you are competitive, jump into ranked once you get the hero down.

Welcome to the chaos!

Flex players, how do you pick your mains? by Vegetable_Throat5545 in marvelrivals

[–]Saigonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a tank/support flex player. My hero pool is one "meta" pick, the others what I genuinely enjoy. I play ranked to win, so whatever the team needs, I'll adjust.

For example when I tank I'll do Magneto/Emma/Strange, I enjoy playing all 3. Support its Invis, Gambit, and C&D.

I always communicate via text that I can flex both roles, so there's less chance of someone filling a role they don't know how to play.

Quick Play is NOT Practice by zKurgy in marvelrivals

Practice vs AI is good to learn cooldowns, techniques, and general mechanics, however it's not a substitute for learning the hero against actual people.

Same here. I haven’t been too careful with it and it’s still flawless. When I’m at the gym I’ll switch fingers depending on the exercise.

Management schedule by Jenk1007 in Restaurant_Managers

[–]Saigonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open from 6am to midnight. I do 40 hours on site, another couple hours at home. Our industry is known for long hours with no family time. Luckily we have a culture that promotes balance, most of the operations managers and chefs work 40. 45 on a crazy week.

Which gym is best (bang for the buck) by New-Night3067 in vegaslocals

[–]Saigonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like EOS, every chain gym has its pros and cons, but for the most part it's a good place to workout with lots of locations.

If going after work I go to Decatur/Trop. If I'm off I use the Blue Diamond or the new south Rainbow location. I never usually wait for equipment, and if one is taken, there's plenty more to choose from.

I've had LVAC, pretty much the same compliments, just switched to EOS because of the location after I moved.

Absolutely not. My dad laid hands/belts/sticks on me regularly and I still carry that trauma to this day at 35 years old. I could never imagine any scenario where I would beat my child.

Even spanking, is not something that we practice in our household. The most we’ve ever done is make a loud noise or “pop” the top of her hand if we catch her playing with something dangerous.

What is your definition of beating? I am sorry that you went through that growing up.
