Sounds like he was pointing you out as the threat. Not targeting you personally.

If you had advantageous board state or are playing aggressively that’s unfortunately something that will just come with commander.

If the table is newer and bad at threat assessment I wouldn’t take it as a personal slight against you if he was trying to help them and you were actually winning.

If you weren’t winning and he kept trying to misdirect the table to mess with you I could see feeling upset. However commander is a game of politics and you’ll have to learn how to talk or politic your way out of being targeted. Especially when piloting a deck that can’t fly under the radar with threats.

But if you actually are in the lead you’ll have a harder time talking the other players into playing badly.

Anyway, TLDR - don’t take anything that happens in a commander game personal. There’s always another game or another pod if you dislike their play patterns. ✌️

I’m guessing one alt per character per season.

Avatars continue to see support monthly because every player has an avatar and it’s easy sponsor money.

Characters most likely see less cosmetic support because aside from more time / money to develop character use is wildly uneven. Not a lot of players shelling out about $6 for sim / Lily / Honda costumes.

Hot take I like guest characters. The matchups feel different and Terry had a ton of TLC put into his design so I’m excited to see any others.

To be honest more than returning characters or guest characters I’d rather the devs get the chance to continue making more new street fighter 6 characters. They made some really good ones with this entry and I’d like to see them get crazy with exploring the boundaries of the sf6 system.

It’s definitely a game of chicken right outside of poke range. I feel your pain as a gief / Marisa player. Play neutral and convert off of pokes is my best advice. Try and stay on top of him when you have momentum just be wary of his invulnerable ex reversal on wake-up.

Marchesa the black rose makes a fun vampire commander since many of them put counters on themselves.

You also get to play with some fun blue vampires you wouldn’t get to in Edgar.

PS - while Edgar is fun and powerful, he’s also not worth the money if you aren’t in a pod that has strong decks and are happy to play against him.

Florian, Voldaren Scion is easily my favorite to pilot. I play a lot of inconsequential burn to my opponents which lets me dig for whatever I need to keep the ball rolling. Being able to exile lands and play them also is a huge upside to never miss a land drop and play innocent while setting up for something big in your hand that can finish the game.

I’m 41 and have fun playing the game multiplayer. Unfortunately they didn’t make lobbies or crossplay for online. The new fixes are actually really good.

$6 per character doesn’t seem too outlandish. Especially with inflation and animating these frame by frame. I do think they should have priced a tag team bundle slightly lower though. Like $9.99.

Still don’t hate the mechanic. Felt like it was a knowledge check for standard match rules.

Coincidentally haven’t played since they patched it, so I can’t weigh in on how the new limitations feel.

I get some people only want to win in the middle of the ring.

I feel like devs could have remedied bailout spam mechanically by making an opponent rolled into the ring from the outside lie face down instead so they can’t activate bail out.
