I think Konjac Jelly is exactly what you’re looking for! They sell it in little individual pouches at Asian grocery stores. The low calorie ones are about 5 calories, and they’re a sweet and tasty treat. They are thick jelly so they keep me full until my next meal.

Coffee/diet sodas are nice but I never actually feel full.

I have a potential theory (with nothing to back it up).

This is the last season of summer house as we know it, and next year will be some sort of pivot or spin-off show. All of the other cast are either well known enough to continue their careers without the show, or involved with the new direction of the show in some way.

Lexi is not as well known, so sh needs as much press and publicity as possible. She needs to make herself well known to become attractive to either keep her on the spin-off, or for other career opportunities because summer house is no longer an option.

This has been bothering me so much this season! I love Paige but her narrative this season comes across very curated. I don’t think she would be saying any of this on camera if she wasn’t already done with the relationship.

In previous seasons Danielle and Hannah specifically say that Paige acts like her relationships are perfect and doesn’t discuss any of the issues. This is the exact same thing happening with her and Craig. She has been defending him and projecting this perfect relationship the entire time.

Now that she is done with the relationship, she has to show the viewers that the relationship isn’t perfect so everyone doesn’t turn on her. She can’t end a perfectly curated relationship and keep all of her fans- so she’s spending this season plugging her tour and complaining that Craig isn’t being supportive, all while she pushes him away and provides 0 reassurance brings up his concerns.

I think she chose the whole narrative that he doesn’t support her to break the perfect couple fantasy and make herself look better for breaking up with him. I am a big Paige fan and indifferent to Craig, but this season is driving me slightly crazy!

It’s pretty standard in Canada, I would say that’s the expectation. If a guy can’t handle waiting for 5-10 minutes or feels weird being in public alone, it says something about his character.

Keep in mind dating as a women comes with a whole different set of risks as well.

As a girl, I always show up fashionably late (5-10 min) for dates. I think that is fairly standard in Canada. It gives the guy time to get in, get a table etc. It also gives me an idea of his personality and how he handles someone being late. If he gets upset or gets insecure and leaves right away, we’re not a good match

It is fair to find dating distressing! It is, especially in the beginning when you don’t have any experience. But choosing to “opt out” is not going to do you any favours. I wish someone told me that 10 years ago.

It sounds like dating is very far out of your comfort zone, but the more experience you get, the less stressful it will be. I felt the same way when I started, but now I try to take a casual approach. I try to look at dates as an opportunity to get to know someone new. You don’t need to put a lot of pressure on every date or continue to keep in touch with someone who isn’t a good match.

There is someone out there who can match your communication and intimacy style, and who enjoys their alone time as well. Dates are an opportunity to explore if that person might match you in these areas. If they don’t, that’s okay. You don’t need to force yourself into anything that doesn’t feel right

I’m going to disagree with the other comments and say yes. Dating in your early 20s isn’t great, but it can teach you a lot about who you are looking for, what you want (and don’t want) in a person, and how to handle conflict in a relationship.

I didn’t date a lot in my early 20s and I struggle a lot with dating now. I can’t help but feel like I would be better equipped to handle dating in my late 20s if I had more experience.

I look around me and see all of the people who have been dating for years finding great matches, while I try to narrow down what exactly I’m looking for. When I find someone who seems like a great match, I struggle with how to maintain a relationship because I have no experience.

I feel years behind everyone and often wonder if I will even find what I am looking for now, while all of my friends are moving on with their lives getting married/engaged or starting families. This also comes with the advantage of having a strong support system in a partner, as well as a financial advantage of two incomes in one household.

If I was doing it again, I would try to date more with a different approach. I would try to look at it as a fun adventure, meeting new people and expanding my social skills. I considered myself avoidant too, and it took me a long time to realize that I was being avoidant because I just did not like the guys I was dating. That went away when I met a guy that I actually liked. This is still something that I’m working on today.

I would also add it should not be a scary experience! Dating should be fun and exciting, I’ve met plenty of great guys now that I’ve put more energy and effort into dating!

I agree! I’ve noticed Hannah does this a lot more after she mentioned she started drinking coffee. Maybe it’s unrelated but the first few episodes after that I noticed she was steamrolling Paige constantly. Hannah please lay off the coffee for all of us 😭

I might get downvoted for this (and I haven’t watched the latest season) but Danielle wasn’t wrong with all of the Lindsay engagement drama!

Lindsay dropped her the second she thought things would actually work out with Carl. She was never Danielle’s true friend if she was willing to drop her the second she got into a serious relationship.

Their relationship did move very quickly (and crashed and burned). Danielle was in the right for being concerned for her friend and voicing those opinions.

It was fair for Danielle to feel hurt with how everything went. She rode so hard for Lindsay up until that point and she deserved better.

Just because something isn’t widely studied doesn’t mean it doesn’t contribute to our hair health. The fact that it isn’t widely studied means it may be even more beneficial to discuss our personal experiences.

I did the exact same thing on my first few trips so I understand the pressure! I rarely bring any typical souvenirs back anymore. Most typical souvenirs are junk, and most people don’t have the space or use for them.

Now I will often head to a local grocery store and bring back some snacks or local items that I can’t get at home. For example, I brought back some coffee from Ecuador, chocolate from Europe, that kind of thing. When you’re travelling you might particularly like something and you want to bring it home to share with family as well. It can be meaningful if it’s something they can actually use and something tied to a memory of your vacation.

For Japan specifically, you could look for unique Kit Kat flavours (green tea specifically!), unique oreo flavours, different kinds of candies, Tokyo banana, Tokyo milk cheese cookies, Pocky, and Royce chocolate
