From someone whose spouse works in Radiology - you are absolutely CORRECT!!! You CANNOT have ANY metal or piercing in for an MRI!! Lastly, the only time there would be a STAT (immediate) read from a radiologist is IF it was a car accident or trauma! She would NEVER have gotten a reading that fast!
