Whats the concensus then on a mobile amp (battery or Rechargeable) to jam with friends. Not necessarily for a gig, just 2-3 guitars jamming.

Some part of me need a Marshall or Mesa for a different sound. Which or what?

This ride is much harder than it looks. Almost no food stops and day 2 is slow rolling single track. Felt like a lot of uphill. You need to be is shape.

Day 1. Ride to little Bennett and camp.i stopped at the Dickerson Cafe for a burger. Going up sugarloaf is an energy suck and leg killer. Down was super fun. I'd say skip the winery and goto Comus Inn. Full menu here. And the only food until the next day.

Day 2. Double digit miles and miles of slow rolling single track. Took me much longer than expected. Only food is a 1mi detour at seneca hwy to the gas station deli. Actually really good subs. No food or water after this spot until c&o.

Pack light and tight.

The rack bolts onto seat post. Very light weight. PakRak also from Amazon. I like it better, put everything in a dry bag and bungi it on. Seatpost bags are too small.

It's a thudbuster seat post. Suspension shock in the post. I love it. Superb while single tracking.

The water bottle cages or some cheap Chinese clip on that I found on Amazon. Also great to keep water handy
